I just received excellent service in Mainz: The shoes that were out of stock in my size are now being held for me in Wiesbaden because the staff really wanted to help. Top-notch service!

Today I went to the JD store in Wiesbaden with my son, never again. He had picked out two pairs of jeans, which were reduced from their original prices of €55 and €60 to €20. Then came the shock at the checkout: instead of €40, the cashier asked for €115. I pointed out that the jeans were reduced, and she replied that they must be on the wrong hanger. I said, "Then all the jeans must be on the wrong hanger, because all the jeans were reduced to €20." The bottom line: no reduction, I had to pay the full price even though the discount tags were clearly on the jeans.

Very unfriendly staff. On Black Friday, they're only selling; everything else can wait. One person is at the register while two others stand around bored. It's hard to find more incompetent management, even these days. Even if you're proud of your reviews, as you said, I would be utterly ashamed if I were you.

Nice shoes and clothes. It's also cool that you can theoretically return items in-store without any problems. My success rate is 50%, because there's always something wrong. And, man, everything takes forever because everyone there really moves in slow motion.

My colleagues tried on shoes and the salesperson made me feel like we were stealing them, which is completely unacceptable. It created a really awful feeling. Never again!
