Terrible service. Only one checkout open on a Saturday, even though there were 10 employees working in the store. Huge queue; they clearly don't want to make any money. They don't accept shopping center vouchers.

Three days ago, I went to this JD Sports store to buy a pair of shoes. The checkout was empty, several employees were assisting customers, but the cashier himself was clearly idle. I even went straight to the register with the shoes I wanted and explicitly stated that I wanted to buy those exact shoes. To my complete bewilderment, I was told that this wasn't possible and that I absolutely had to wait for an assistant. Why an available cashier couldn't process a purchase was neither explained nor given a comprehensible reason. Since all the assistants were still busy, I eventually left the store without buying anything. Today, I went back to the store – hoping to finally buy the shoes. Exactly the same situation: shoes in hand, all assistants occupied. The difference: A very friendly employee processed the purchase immediately and without any problems at the register. When I asked, she confirmed that the purchase would, of course, have been possible – even on my first visit. Particularly disappointing: The employee who refused my purchase the first time was, according to a colleague, even an Assistant Manager (a dark-skinned man). If that's true, it's highly questionable. Such behavior doesn't come across as customer-oriented, but rather off-putting – and ultimately leads to customers leaving the store without spending any money. I would like to expressly commend the employee I spoke to on my second visit – she was friendly, solution-oriented, and competent. However, the negative impression remains of inadequate training, inconsistent procedures, and questionable management. In conclusion: Good products, but the service – especially from management – needs improvement. Customers shouldn't have to come back twice to make a simple purchase.
