Decathlon is one of the best if not the best general sport equipments and clothes in the area. Very convenient to park, close to other shopping facilities like the loop 5. always people willing to support. product from the Decathlon brand, very good quality and quite innovative. Like also regret stuff for the garden games. This place is particularly spacious with a big assortment. There is also in the middle of the shop, a partnership with a e-bike company.

Kudos for your CSR. Homeless were grateful for your tents in BONN, Germany.

In late January of 2026 I brought in my used trekking bike to sell and return a new single speed bike I had just purchased online from Decathalon. I was greeted by David in the bike department whom provided me with exceptional customer service! David was professional, friendly, understanding, patient, and did his best to help me sell my bike and return the new one. I noticed that he was very motivated to do his best, very competent at his job, efficient and demonstrated sincere dedication to help me. As an English speaker from the U.S.A., I was thankful he spoke English fluently, making the process easy and fluid. Thank you David for your exceptional customer service! Jeong Ko (John)

The new layout from this store is HORRIBLE. It is like IKEA, but the Ikea concept doesn't work for sport stores. Now, to buy something in Decathlon, you have to go through all bike department (new and repair). How often someone buys a bike or repair it?? I used to visit the store every 15-30 days to dig for something new (for camping/sport). Now it is really demotivating and I'd rather buy online. I still hope that they listen to the customers and revert this layout.

I had an appointment for the bike reparation service, and there was no one attending. After a while, once of the Decathlon crew members told me while laughing that no one was working there that day, and that he knew nothing else as he was working there only as a mini job and he didn’t care. He offered me to leave the bike or raise a complaint with the Manager. Long story short… after a second worker denied me to raise a complaint, Manager appeared and suddenly the service was open again… I think that even if you are not a full time worker, not laughing and lying at customers is the minimum level of respect, at it is clear that workers on this Decathlon store don’t even care

Great service from the bicycle repair shop section of the store. I had a problem with the dynamo front light and the professional who spoke great English diagnosed the problem fast and found a compatible spare part. Works great now, thanks! Ps. The security guard or whoever the man is at the elevators didn't speak a word of English and got in my way when I tried to take my bike to the bicycle repair station. He pointed me at the door. A misunderstanding he caused himself. Anyway, no biggy, all good, it all worked out.

The new store design layout is an Ikea copy. You have to walk past every item they sell in the store. You start the process by trying to avoid 50 kids on bikes cycling badly all around the entrance. You walk to the section you want, no short cuts available. No staff on hand for advice. Because of this we down graded our shopping list to a few minimal items and not the main purchase. Then you walk around the rest of the shop, no short cuts available, to be presented with a self checkout. No other option. Once the purchase was made we walked past an employee who watches you being an unpaid cashier. Not a satisfying shopping experience. Instead we went to a store 200 meters away and bought what we needed from a company with customer service, and will continue to do so in future.

DECATHLON Weiterstadt is a fantastic store for all your sports and outdoor needs. The place is huge and very well organized, offering a wide selection of products for every type of activity from cycling and hiking to swimming, fitness, and camping gear. One thing I really like is the great value for money you get reliable quality at affordable prices, making it perfect for both beginners and regular athletes. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with product advice or sizing. Another big plus+ you can order online and easily collect your items in-store. The pickup process is smooth and saves a lot of time, very convenient if you already know what you need. There's also plenty of space to try out some of the equipment (like bikes and scooters), and the overall shopping experience is enjoyable. Plenty of parking and a family-friendly environment make it even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality sports gear in the Weiterstadt area!

The most beautiful and organized Decathlon store I have ever seen. A store that is large, spacious, has a maturity date, offers the opportunity to try all products, and has a very large parking lot. Once inside, it is a store where you can enjoy browsing from section to section. The employees are very attentive and helpful. Also, I have never encountered such a situation as product confusion or label confusion, which is the case in many stores. It is a store with space where you can test even large mountain-road bikes, and a climbing platform, albeit small, in the field of mountaineering. It is also nice to have a cafe where you can comfortably sip your coffee after visiting the store or during your shopping break. It is a store that I enjoy visiting and shopping at.

I was surprised at the size and range. There are more types of bicycles than I thought. Scooters and gym equipment as well.
