I have been buying one or two pairs of shoes a year for years and am very satisfied with the advice and the quality of the shoes. Unfortunately, two weeks ago on Saturday, the very friendly employee I have usually seen was not there, but a young man who was having a long and extensive conversation with two customers who were already leaving the store. I said hello and went to the shoes and waited for the employee to bring me a pair of shoes; I had found something suitable straight away. Unfortunately, I waited in vain while he kept the conversation going and ranted on and on about online purchases and the internet mentality. After four or five minutes, I lost patience and left. I'll just try again another time when I have the chance and maybe have better luck with a different employee.

Over the past few years, I've sought advice at the Schöffel-LOWA Store in Wiesbaden several times, and I'd like to single out Ms. Reineck in particular. Her advice is exceptionally competent, helpful, and always customer-focused. I particularly appreciate the fact that she takes her time, addresses individual needs, and explains everything in detail. It's clear that she's not interested in selling something "at any price," but rather in ensuring that you ultimately find the right product. This includes honestly advising against a purchase if, for example, the size doesn't fit perfectly. It's precisely this honesty and the palpable concern for the customer's well-being that have made me enjoy shopping in the store even more and more often – and I'm always happy to return. Thank you for this exceptionally good advice!

Great advice regarding my search for waterproof shoes. Unfortunately, the recommended shoes are completely unsuitable for me; for €250, I expected comfortable hiking boots. The model I bought proved to be so stiff and uncomfortable during a test walk outdoors that after 10 minutes I was in so much pain I wanted to take them off immediately. I returned them, as it seems you don't get the option to exchange a clearly ill-fitting item when buying in a store, so I left the shoes there without a refund. The owner will probably donate them to a charity; I hope the recipient has resilient feet.

Whenever we need Lowa shoes or Schöffel clothing, this is our place of choice. Recently, it was hiking boots for my son and I. Excellent advice, with patient fetching and returning of a wide variety of models. In the end, we even ordered one from Mainz to choose from—which we ended up choosing. So, all in all, it's worth a visit and a recommendation. And thank you so much for the wonderful help with choosing shoes. Nothing pinches, and running in the Renegades is simply fun.

Great expert advice on the topic of good hiking boots. I would definitely recommend this store. The selection on site was good, and anything they didn't have in stock was ordered as quickly as possible. That's what I call excellent service Made in Germany. I'd be happy to come back.

That was brilliant. Especially the advice. We needed good hiking boots, and there's a tiny hill in the store. One up and one down. On the "down"... Stop... "Are your toes hitting the front?" Yes, then go up a size. Where else can you get such good advice?? Certainly not from an online retailer. So, away with comfort (exercise is always good, you can never go wrong) and head into town and shop locally. That's how it's done... even in the 21st century. Who wants to go hiking with bloody heels or toes?

Very friendly, highly competent advice. I'd gladly use their services again, even though I have to drive almost 100 km. It was worth it!
