I'm traveling to Ireland in a few months to go camping and backpacking for the first time. Completely clueless, I went to this shop. There, I received excellent advice from the lovely Mr. Henning. I've never experienced such great and helpful service. I've now found the perfect backpack and am looking forward to a wonderful holiday. Thank you again! Highly recommended.

A very nice shop if you do your research beforehand and know what you want. Unfortunately, the staff aren't very helpful. I was there this week and wanted to buy a knife and a belt. They couldn't even answer simple questions about the knife, and they weren't able to check on the computer whether the belt I wanted was still in stock. It's a shame, because the shop and the selection are actually very good, but if someone comes in without knowing what they're looking for, they'll definitely get the wrong advice.

My first tilly hat has shrunk a lot so i was delighted to see this shop carry a range of tilly hats. A gentleman there brought out his own tillyhat and explained the shrinking process, this encouraged me to keep trying a bigger size to give it more shrink allowance. He was extremely knowledgeable in this department and even explained how certain models had a thinner fabric at the crown. As well as which models would go floppy at the brim when the wind blows. He went through 5-6 hats of different sizes before i settled on the T3 classic. I returned later in the evening to purchase a Tasmanian Tiger bottle holder in cordura. Maybe i should visit tommorow for a Mufflon jacket. Edit: bought a mufflon 300 jacket and really liked the sturdy build of it. The 0 degree cold no longer posed a problem. Thanks Jan and Claudia for their great customer service and hospitality.

A very pleasant shopping trip. The staff especially in the wanderung- section were really helpful and handed out some tips on where to try out the new gear in Hannover. And they had Vibram Five Fingers!
