Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this store. I bought two pairs of running shoes at the Just Run running shop in Hanover, including the Saucony Ride 18. After just one day at home, a strong, chemical plastic smell permeated the entire room. Even after airing them out, the smell persisted. When I tried to return the shoes to the store today, I was treated very rudely. The salesperson immediately refused a return without seriously addressing the problem. No alternatives were offered, nor was contacting the manufacturer suggested. Instead, I was shown another pair of shoes, which they claimed also smelled. I didn't find that to be the case. I was essentially left to deal with the problem on my own, and they suggested I complain via email. I find the way they handle legitimate complaints particularly disappointing. If a product smells this strong, at least an inspection or a customer-friendly solution should be possible. In retrospect, I also realized that the prices are comparatively high. The consultation essentially consisted of a quick walk back and forth in the store; in my opinion, it wasn't a proper gait analysis at all. The only positive thing I can say is that the first salesperson was friendly – ​​otherwise, I probably wouldn't have bought anything there. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Due to the poor customer service and the way complaints were handled, I wouldn't shop there again. I also reserve the right to take further action. Addendum to your reply: The suggestion that I want to harm you is unfounded! Criticism must be allowed. If a shoe smells so strongly of chemicals (my neighbors share this sentiment), you could have worked together to find a solution. It could, for example, be a production defect or a faulty batch from the manufacturer. And you, as the retailer, could have spoken with the manufacturer. Instead, you simply said, "We don't accept returns," and left me to deal with the problem on my own. That is NOT customer-friendly! Incidentally, the shoe still stinks!

And you're clearly trying to harm us with this review.<br><br>Let's stick to the facts.<br><br>Smell: Yes, some models have a slight chemical odor. It's a plastic foam, and that can't be completely avoided. However, it's all within legal limits; otherwise, we wouldn't be able to work here for years without health problems.<br><br>The Ride 18 is definitely not one of those smelly shoes; I have two pairs at home myself.<br><br>Our analysis: You came to us during your lunch break and told us you didn't have time. Therefore, we cut things short, and you even went against our recommendations and chose a second pair that wasn't ideally suited to your running style.<br><br>Regarding the price: You got the Ride 18 for €100, which is an absolutely fair price compared to leading online shops.<br><br>Regarding the complaint: The shoe had already been worn. The law does not grant a right of return per se. It is at the discretion of the retailer. And here, as everywhere in life, you reap what you sow.

Good running shoe advice. However, it's rather "mass processing." You sometimes have to be patient during the consultation while the staff attend to other customers. But it was also a Saturday, so it was probably just busier than usual. The selection of running socks is also very good. You can tell that they've really put thought into which products to include in their range instead of just jumping on every trend.

However, with 5 to 6 consultants on staff, we still try to maintain a high level of service. At peak times, it can certainly seem like a mass processing operation. But every customer receives their own individual analysis and consultation!

A very clean, tidy, and straightforward shop with a great selection of running shoes, clothing, and running equipment! I had a gait analysis done and I'm absolutely thrilled! It was very easy, and the staff member was really friendly and gave us excellent advice! I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

I regularly buy my running shoes from you and am always impressed by the friendly and highly competent advice. A running analysis is offered, and it's clearly communicated that this will be charged if I purchase. Otherwise, there's a fee. I think that's perfectly acceptable for such a small shop. Hanover should be lucky to have such a specialty store.

Since I'm a complete novice and have just started running, we came for a running analysis and (hopefully) new running shoes, and we were not disappointed. During the analysis, everything related to our feet and running style was explained clearly and understandably. Right after that, the shoes were picked out and tried on. It was the third pair. It was a completely different, more positive running experience than I'd had with my previous, self-selected shoes. The guys know their job, and you feel like they're giving you absolutely good advice. We were happy to buy our shoes and matching running socks here and will definitely be back for the next pair!

Friendly and helpful on the phone. However, once you arrive, you receive information that wasn't mentioned over the phone. For example, that a running shoe analysis is not free, which is something you don't find anywhere else. And it's very expensive, forcing you to buy shoes. The consultation is far too expensive. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them.

Hello Alexa.<br>For years, our running analysis and our expertise were apparently included free of charge in our shoe consultations. However, this service has never been free. The equipment and well-trained staff cost money. We help finance this through sales of goods.<br>This year, we've seen an increase in customers using our advice to then purchase shoes elsewhere. Common sense should understand that this can't work in the long run.<br>We offer a state-of-the-art gait and running analysis and first-class advice that is unique far beyond Hanover. Our staff achieves a near-perfect match between the customer's requirements and the right running shoes.<br>That's why, for the past few weeks, we've been charging €30 for this service, which is deducted from the purchase (or later, of course). However, most customers don't realize this, as they're with us anyway to buy running shoes.

First of all, I have to say that the team was very nice, but I didn't find the advice as comprehensive as it should have been. I came for a running analysis. Unfortunately, the salesperson didn't ask me any questions that are actually very important for choosing the right running shoe. For example, my previous running experience, potential discomfort while running, or the type of surface I run on. I had the impression that the salesperson had received very little training. I asked him a lot of questions about these points. Maybe it was just bad timing because the store was quite busy and he had to serve two customers at once.

As complete running beginners, we went to Just Run on a recommendation, intending to get some advice and leave with a new pair of shoes that, while not the prettiest, are incredibly comfortable. After an amazing consultation and trying on several shoes, not only did I get a new pair of running shoes, but my boyfriend did too. They're not only incredibly comfortable, but they also look fantastic! 😍 Even after our first few runs, we're still thrilled and have even discovered the joy of running! 🥰 Consultation: 10/5 stars Satisfaction: 10/5 stars
