It's simply amazing how well everything is organized. From the reception to the really good coffee and the sometimes homemade cakes, to the friendly and competent "repairmen" who are happy to explain what's wrong with your device and do everything they can to get it working again. The stock of frequently needed small parts for repairing a wide variety of devices is almost unbelievable. Highly recommended, it couldn't be better.

Excellent service; I only had a short wait and received a very friendly welcome. Detlef, a long-time employee, got my lamp back on. Thank you so much for your expert help. A donation is gratefully accepted and definitely appropriate for the helpful volunteers.

Every second Saturday of the month from 2 pm to 6 pm. Repairs for a donation. Coffee and cake buffet included. Over the years, meticulously kept statistics show that two-thirds of repair attempts are successful immediately. An additional 10-15% are successful after a return visit with suitable spare parts. Only white goods (refrigerators, washing machines, stoves, and ovens) are excluded from acceptance! Extraordinary, voluntary, and helpful commitment from all involved, who guide those seeking assistance, if interested, towards self-repair in the fully equipped workshops. Workshops available: Metal workshop, bicycle workshop, electrical and electronics workshop, woodworking workshop.

My curtain lights weren't working anymore because the transformer was broken. With endless patience and kindness, three employees took turns repairing the problem, and it worked! The wait was sweetened with coffee and cake. We saw nothing but happy faces, as there was a solution for every problem! Whether it was a vacuum cleaner, sewing machine, model car, microwave, shredder, or bicycle, everything could be repaired on a donation basis! We drove from Kirchrode to Nordstadt and are home again, happy! Christmas is saved! Thank you!

ATTENTION: They are NOT open every Saturday, but unfortunately ONLY OPEN EVERY SECOND SATURDAY OF THE MONTH. They are also very strict about this and make NO exceptions. So, in case of an urgent problem (e.g., a flat tire on your bicycle), they are unfortunately not very helpful – you would have to wait a whole month.

My sewing machine is working again, and I'm overjoyed because it's an heirloom from my mom. Very, very nice, helpful people in a large workshop for many repairs.
