Competence and quality have led us to buy five bikes in the past few years. But after being almost rudely turned away regarding inspections last year and this year (“Can I bring my bike? Nope!”), I'm tired of asking any more questions. My new bike dealer is friendly, equally competent, and did a great inspection.

A small, charming bicycle shop in the village of Hemmingen. Besides repairs, you can also buy new bikes. The staff are very helpful. Parking is available as the shop is located on a former estate.

First, you can't reach him, and then he's so rude, saying he's busy enough and can't take on any more bikes because he's the only one. I think that can be said in a different tone than attacking someone like that. Anyway, I definitely won't go back to him and won't recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!

The owner still works here himself. The price/performance ratio is very good. We'll definitely be back.

I can highly recommend Zweirad Fachwerk and Mr. Hirsch. The inspection and repair of my two everyday mountain bikes were carried out to my complete satisfaction. Since Mr. Hirsch works alone as a master bicycle mechanic and has a very high volume of orders (I wonder why?), it can sometimes take a few days. You should simply factor this in and make appointments well in advance. And sometimes things just don't work out! It feels unfair when someone complains about this and leaves a bad review. "Then go to Netto..." 😁

Very unfriendly. If it were possible, I wouldn't even give it one star. To adjust the brakes on a children's scooter, he wanted to drill holes and complained about the material. He charged €40 for it and couldn't give a timeframe. His answer was "sometime in a few weeks." We went to Stadler that same evening. Half an hour later, and for only €20, our brakes were adjusted. No drilling and they gave us friendly advice. We actually wanted to buy a bike from him, but that's now out of the question. If you don't feel like it, you should set priorities!!! Not recommended!!!
Owner's response
I'm sorry you see it that way. But when it comes to a scooter where the front brake is already crooked when brand new, and the rear brake is a different type, but the levers are the same and therefore technically incompatible, I'm allowed to complain.

The reason I couldn't say when I could do it is that I work alone and my schedule is full with larger projects, so I have to squeeze these kinds of things in somewhere. Besides, it's not easy to estimate the work involved with parts of this quality, and I'm sure you'd prefer it if something ended up costing less than estimated.

And of course, it's not exactly fun making vehicles of dubious quality that I bought online roadworthy.

C. It's a very small shop, but the employee is very competent and friendly and knows a lot. I trust the suggestions they make there...
