I had two experiences with this bike shop, both of which were entirely negative: 1) After a road bike accident, I contacted several dealers in Hi regarding a damage assessment. Radsport Mispagel was one of them. I could live with the rejection over the phone. I've experienced similar situations with other dealers due to the bike brand. But the way they handled it was extremely difficult. No open communication, no alternative suggestions, no "how are you doing after the accident," no goodbye. Just a simple "no" and they hung up. Naturally, this immediately disqualified the shop as a potential source for my next road bike. 2) I asked my partner to get inner tubes with Schrader valves. Unfortunately, she was unaware of my experiences with the shop and sought "advice" there. She asked the owner for inner tubes with American valves. "American" because that's the common term for Schrader valves in my hometown. The owner apparently didn't know the term, but instead of looking it up online or asking about the valve's shape, he mocked my partner in front of other customers and publicly humiliated her. Since the shop has been around for several years, Radsport Mispagel is surely doing many things right. But for me, service and personal interaction are important criteria, alongside the quality of the repairs and the expertise. I really wonder how successful the shop could be if customers were treated with a bit more friendliness and humanity.

I asked for a few drops of oil because my folding bike wouldn't lock into place, and I had to buy a whole bottle. I didn't receive any help. Very unfriendly staff.

I can't recommend this shop. I wanted to buy an e-bike from Mr. Mispagel. He responded to my questions either with annoyance, a shrug, or a grumble.

Top service and a thorough inspection! I took my e-bike to Miesbagel Fahrrad for a service and I'm completely satisfied. Everything was carefully checked – from the drive system and brakes to the electronics. You can immediately tell that they work with expertise and attention to detail. A big thank you to the team for the friendly service and conscientious work! My bike rides like new again – I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Today, Fahrrad Mispagel in Hildesheim treated me like dirt and bombarded me with accusations. It's unbelievable. That's not how you treat customers. Instead of friendly, goal-oriented advice, I'm accused of only being able to do a standard inspection on my Izorad Disc, and at the standard price. Where on earth was the advice, information, explanation, advantage, benefit, and a suitable offer? I actually wanted to leave my Prestige Pro there for inspection when I picked it up. I had requested this via email and received no rejection. The question was what he was supposed to do. And anyway, he's full and on vacation next week. I'll hear about it later. Now I've pushed both bikes home and didn't even ask if I could still bring my wife's Stevens eBike. And I've buried my Stevens job bike idea for now.

An unpleasant experience. The owner was grumpy and took his temper out randomly on the customers. To be honest, I was a bit shocked by the unprofessional behavior. I can't comment on the professional competence; I left before a possible consultation, based on what I heard.

The salesman should change his name to "Grumpy," because it seems to be a perfect description of his behavior. He was incredibly unfriendly and extremely annoyed, and all I wanted to do was buy two valve caps. When I asked if the shop also did repairs or if they could take a look at my tires, since one of them was losing air, I was simply told that the workshop was fully booked for the next two months. Judging from the other reviews here over the past few years, this two-month wait seems to be a common excuse. So, unfortunately, I can only agree with the other 1-star reviews 👎

I can only agree with some of the other reviews. The owner is very unfriendly. I once wanted to buy spokes, and he grumpily said he didn't have them and would have to order a package, which he doesn't do. Another time, I wanted a bicycle tube, and I said it was twice as expensive as... and the succinct reply: "Then go buy one there." I don't understand how a store like that can survive with such "friendliness."

I received excellent and friendly advice today. They were very nice and competent. Unfortunately, the selection wasn't as large as in specialist stores, but the recommended bike was perfect and a great fit for me. I think I'll go with the Stevens bike.
