The pump is still broken! You need a lot of small change at the machine. Outdated. So the big ones from lasse's post are still around... Oh, and a hose now costs €9 in small change 😅

The bicycle pump is broken; the tools work. A bicycle inner tube from a vending machine costs €8 (payable only in coins, which you have to have on hand). However, the tube couldn't be inflated because the pump is broken. No nearby alternative can be found on Google Maps. The broken repair station is essentially just an extra in a car park heavily used by numerous overweight drivers. Unfortunately, the unreliability of the repair stations/structural deficiencies do little to encourage the population to adopt more climate-friendly mobility (e.g., on the Stade-Hamburg route) or to contribute to combating the increasing obesity epidemic. Anyone with a flat tire here is out of luck.
