The last of its kind in the area! They're trying to embrace new developments. The mix of tradition (senior manager) and future (junior) keeps it alive. We love the personal interaction, the advice... you can't find that online.

Thank you so much for the wonderful and very friendly service. We had a padlock engraved for our late son. I was shown a really beautiful one. Since we wanted to attach it in Büsum the next day, we were able to pick it up the following day. It turned out so beautifully, and it was very reasonably priced too. Merkel comes highly recommended. The service was really nice, but the quality of the print is extremely poor. The print was applied the wrong way around and, without informing the customer, another print was applied over the incorrect print to cover up the mistake. The customer was then told that the print could not be done without a border (for a coat of arms). In reality, the border around the coat of arms only covers the previous mistake. In the meantime, the entire print has come off, which is why the mistake has only now come to light. In my opinion, that's not good work and a pretty poor attitude towards mistakes (which can happen). I'm not usually one to write negative comments like this, but I find this pretty unacceptable.

Great shop! Friendly staff! Keeps up with the times. Engraves, prints, and embroiders almost anything, such as stuffed animals and even shoes.
