We just bought a Skoda Karoq and were very pleased with the professional sales consultation and purchase process. In a pleasant atmosphere, we were immediately served hot drinks and cookies by junior salesman Oliver Frank.

Top service – no comparison to the many other Audi centers I've experienced in the last 15 years. Very professional yet personal advice. Appointments are kept, and you're informed well in advance if needed. Thank goodness the "small" Audi dealerships still exist.

My T6.1 was at Autohaus Warncke for warranty work. I received a call every evening to let me know what was being done to find the problem. The van was there for five days, and VW was contacted several times. Many engine parts had to be replaced! I made an appointment for this and received a loaner vehicle for two days (that was all I needed). The replacement vehicle was then back for another five days and was constantly maintained. They also discovered that the vehicle had prior damage, which the VW dealer had "forgotten" to mention (not Warncke). So, I can highly recommend this dealership. The waiting time for an appointment is a bit long, but where isn't it? I would also like to thank the entire service team!

€185 for a cost estimate!! My thermostat was defective. I described the problem to the service advisor at the Warncke car dealership. It seemed like a perfectly clear-cut case. However, the dealership insisted on keeping the car for a diagnostic check. I had to rent a car for €10 to get home. The next day, when I picked up the car, the service advisor told me the repair would cost around €1000 because it was a complex job requiring extensive disassembly, and if the coolant pump was also defective, it would be significantly more expensive (the thermostat itself only costs a few euros). I wanted to pay for the rental car and the diagnostic check with the cost estimate directly when I picked up the car. The staff then told me they would send me the amount by email. Now I've received an email from the service advisor for a whopping €175.53 for a diagnostic check! No repairs were carried out here; it was purely a diagnostic check for €175.53. Oh no, a few days later I received a written bill in the mail demanding €185!! In the end, I paid over €200!! for a diagnostic check!! No repairs were done!! And if you have a car accident and the dealership offers you a complete package (workshop, lawyer + expert), I advise against it.

Dear [Name Not Public],

we are sorry that you were apparently not satisfied with our service. Unfortunately, due to your anonymity, we cannot verify your statement.

Generally speaking, if you had insisted that we replace your thermostat—despite the recommended prior diagnosis—we would have done so. After all, it's not just a matter of "a few euros." We could have given you a price quote in advance, free of charge, based on the manufacturer's standard times.

However, you clearly did opt for a fault diagnosis. If we determine that the water pump is defective/leaking instead of, or in addition to, the thermostat, then you can't seriously blame us. That's the whole point of a diagnosis! Had you commissioned us to carry out the repair, there would have been no additional costs for the diagnosis, as the necessary disassembly/assembly work would have been required for the replacement anyway. But if—as it seems—you decided against commissioning the repair after receiving the diagnosis, then of course you are responsible for the costs incurred. That's normal and should actually be understandable.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to trace what communication took place regarding the amount of the costs and when. Your description isn't really helpful in this regard. However, both sides usually contribute to the misunderstanding.

In the last sentence, you mention out of context that our car dealership offers accident victims a complete package. We see nothing wrong with that. And from our perspective, it's "recommended" in the truest sense of the word. After all, the opposing insurance companies also have lawyers and experts whose primary interest is to minimize the insurance company's costs by any means necessary. Our offer, which is generally free for customers, is simply about being on equal footing with the insurance companies – and thus securing our customers' rights.

That you reject this or advise against it is your right. Why you add this advice at the end remains a mystery... The service team and management of Autohaus Warncke

Great dealership, very well-maintained premises, and the salespeople are very friendly and courteous. You feel very comfortable with this dealership. Appointments can be arranged spontaneously and at short notice. The sales discussion was very pleasant. The opportunity to thoroughly explore the desired vehicle is particularly commendable. While price negotiation isn't possible, the vehicle's price is already reasonable, in line with the market. Highly recommended!
