Spontaneous help on a bikepacking trip: Mr. Achilles saved my trip when I happened to be riding past his workshop with a recently broken spoke. The new spoke was immediately installed, and a broken shift cable was also replaced – and I was able to continue my ride! And that even though it was actually my lunch break. The light I accidentally left behind arrived in a small package today. Thank you so much for everything!

I went to Achilles for the first time yesterday because my bike rack broke and I needed a new one quickly, as riding my bike with a child on the back would have been unsafe otherwise. A new bike rack was installed immediately. Everything was ready within five minutes. The staff were super friendly, even with the children. I would go back anytime. Cash payments are also accepted here. Thank you so much for the positive experience.

I endured a very long wait for my bicycle repair. Things were "repaired and replaced" that weren't even discussed, let alone defective. For example, the bicycle light. For €280 and over a four-week wait, I at least got used pedals.

I bought a used car there last year. It was being sold on consignment, of course. Everything was great up until the purchase was finalized. I had a minor issue during the test drive, which was supposed to be fixed (otherwise I wouldn't have bought the car). After two weeks, the car wouldn't start, so I had a new battery installed. Shortly after, the same problem occurred. Since I was assured (unfortunately only verbally) that I would have a four-week warranty, I went there. The manager wasn't there, and nobody knew anything about it. I asked for a phone call. A few days later, I went again, but the manager still wasn't there, and I still didn't get a call. I called myself again... nothing! Then the car wouldn't start at all; the starter was broken. But that's not even the main problem. The noise I already heard during the test drive, which was supposed to be fixed, reappeared after just a few days (and it was really bad) and is still there today! The fact that the boss was unreachable and no one had contacted me was extremely disappointing, especially since I would have liked to resolve the original problem. I hesitated for a long time before writing this review, but I have nothing to reproach myself for and just wanted to get this off my chest. Update: As of today: Since the noise, which was already present during the test drive, got progressively worse, I was forced to take the car to the garage. It's something wrong with the clutch! The "funny" thing is that it was supposedly replaced before I bought the car! Therefore, I advise everyone against buying a car from them. Everything that was discussed and promised verbally has not been carried out or honored. Due to health reasons, I need a RELIABLE car, not one where I've already had to practically recoup the purchase price. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

"We're good!" That was the confident answer to my question about whether it was difficult to get the brake parts. "And we do everything we can for our customers!" I can only agree. The bike shop in Celle had frustrated me by telling me the parts wouldn't arrive until October. He said he couldn't do anything for me until then. Achilles got my bike roadworthy again in a single day. And made me happy. Thank you so much!

I regularly take my bike there for inspection or repairs. The staff are competent, friendly, and reliable. Even if a mistake does occur, which is only natural, they make every effort to fix it as quickly as possible. It's usually free of charge. Excellent service. I'm very satisfied with the work and the friendly service. 5 stars from me 😊

A small, incredibly friendly bike shop, the kind you wouldn't expect to find in the countryside with such a wide variety of bikes and offerings. It's anything but average. I found my absolute dream bike here. The perfect, beautiful basket to go with it was ordered and arrived the very next day. Fantastic customer service. They went out of their way to help, were knowledgeable, and very friendly!

I dropped off my bike for repair and immediately after picking it up discovered that the gears weren't working properly and needed fixing. When I pointed this out, they simply said that couldn't be the case, that bikes are only checked before being handed over to the customer. They only offered me the option of bringing the bike back for repair, which of course would be charged as a new repair job. And I will definitely recommend this to everyone: I will certainly never be a customer there again. Outrageous and unfriendly!

We always strive to offer our customers the best service. Should this happen, however, a new order will of course be placed, but we will never charge again for readjusting the circuit.

I cannot recommend either the car repair shop or the bicycle repair service: 1. Bicycle repair: We've had many bicycles repaired there and were rarely satisfied. Most of the time, we had to go back because, for example, the gears weren't adjusted properly or the brakes were still rubbing. When the light stopped working, the front light (with sensor, etc., which was really expensive!) was replaced with a simple, cheap light without any consultation, and we were charged 80 euros. They would have thrown the other bicycle light away! Furthermore, the man in the repair shop is very unfriendly and not customer-oriented. 2. Car repair shop: Here, too, we felt that the repairs were overpriced. In addition, Mr. Achilles is difficult to reach, and the waiting times for an appointment are long. We cannot recommend this repair shop and prefer to go to a garage in Celle or Wietze – in the end, it's worth it!
