Update November 12, 2025: In October, I scheduled a service appointment in Wesel for both my KTM e-bike and my beloved KTM "regular" bike, including pick-up and drop-off. The appointment was last week, and the friendly driver called at the beginning of the agreed-upon time slot on Thursday to let me know he couldn't pick up the bikes until noon. This worked out perfectly. On Friday, I received a call to discuss the results of the inspection. For example, it turned out that my old bike didn't need new inner tubes after all; only the valves were loose. However, the taillight was broken. They explained the different options (wiring repair vs. LED clip-on light) and gave me the prices. I can only speak for myself, of course, but I'm extremely satisfied once again. Incidentally, my taillight was able to be repaired after all; I found this out after inquiring about the LED taillight not being charged for. The price for the service on both bikes, including pickup and delivery, is incredibly fair. Why am I describing this in such detail? I think it's absolutely fantastic that they dealt with me so transparently, fairly, and without a hint of sales pressure. They could have simply fitted the bike with two new inner tubes and sold me a new taillight, as I had suggested. Instead, the necessary work was done without any fuss, and for that, a big "thank you" to everyone involved! ___________________________ We stumbled upon the Wesel branch and were able to easily schedule an appointment for a mandatory safety inspection, even though the e-bike wasn't purchased from Alpenfiets. And not months in the future, but an appointment within two business days! The bike was picked up free of charge. A time slot was agreed upon, and the friendly employee called (as promised) a quarter of an hour before arriving. A quick check of the accessories on the bike, a signature, and then it was loaded into the car. Less than three hours later, I received a call: the e-bike had already been inspected and was ready for pickup that afternoon (delivery was also offered upon request). What can I say? I'm absolutely impressed by how friendly, competent, and seamless everything was. From the welcome at the store to the pickup and, of course, the service itself—many other bike retailers could learn a thing or two from them. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Alpenfiets, and my next company bike will definitely be purchased there. Never change a winning team, thank you so much!

Rip-off! Trying to sell a customer a brake repair that costs €200, when the bike cost €800. The bike was also purchased in this shop, but it's certainly the last one. The brake parts cost €45! The labor took just under an hour. Well, if that's how you treat customers.

Incompetent and unreliable!!!! My e-bike was supposed to be picked up for a service. Two days beforehand, I called again to arrange a specific appointment, as I have to work and the handover was supposed to take place during my break. The driver didn't show up, and I couldn't reach anyone by phone. After 40 minutes, I finally got through. The employee said he would find out where the driver was and get back to me. That didn't happen either. I then had to go back to work without having dropped off my bike. Absolutely terrible service and not recommended.

I took my Riese and Müller bike in for repairs. The horn was broken. I waited 6 weeks. I got the bike back. The horn still doesn't work. It was an expensive non-repair. What a shame.

I bought a Hase Lepus bicycle through classifieds here and had several pleasant phone conversations until the bike arrived. Mr. Meier arranged for individual delivery to ensure nothing would get damaged during transport to the south. The bike was perfectly workshop-tested and exactly as described. A very trustworthy dealer; you can even buy a bike sight unseen from over 400 km away. Excellent!

We rented two e-bikes there and went on a few tours. The area is simply perfect for that. Even though we hadn't reserved in advance, they were there for us. Thank you for the friendly service.

I dropped my bike off there because I just needed a new inner tube. I was advised to have an inspection and other work done, and I agreed to this. When I dropped it off, I was told the work would cost just under €150. And if it turned out to be more expensive, they would call me and ask. I didn't want to spend any more money because I could have just bought a new bike. When I picked it up, I was supposed to pay €236. I asked how they came up with that price, because it was agreed differently, and I didn't receive a call. Unfortunately, I was put off by the fact that they didn't know why, but they couldn't change it now. It's a shame they don't keep their promises, because it's basically a nice shop.

I dropped my bike off there on May 5th. The shop was very busy, and another man came after me. He was served before me, and I wasn't even given a glance. When I asked what I had to do to be served, I received only an apologetic look. Shortly after, another employee was called over. He took my bike for repair. Here, you have to make an appointment in advance, which I wasn't aware of. In my hometown, I bring my bike there and can pick it up the next day. Two weeks passed and nothing happened to my bike. When I asked on May 22nd, they still couldn't give me a date when I could pick up my bike ready. I picked up my bike today, not repaired. The employees there don't seem to care; apparently, their salary somehow pays for itself. I won't be going back to that repair shop. I can only advise anyone who relies on their bike not to drop their bike off at that shop. It would have been fairer to say they currently don't have the capacity to accept any more repairs. Then I would have gone straight to another repair shop and saved myself two weeks of waiting.

My bike sat in the shop for over two weeks. It wasn't even touched. They clearly don't need customers. So, I picked it up again without it being repaired. I've never experienced such terrible service anywhere. If you need your bike, you're better off going to a different shop.

I felt very comfortable during the consultation. Whether in sales or in the workshop. The entire team is very courteous and always finds a solution. A good workshop is always busy, so waiting for a repair appointment is worthwhile. Alpenfiets remains my first choice for everything related to bicycles.
