I found something again today! Great Bugatti winter boots! First reduced from €120 to €60, and then another 20% off 🤗 Browsing was nice, but the friendly saleswoman who recommended my now new boots when I asked was fantastic 🤗 I'll definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Today I went here looking for winter shoes. When I asked about them, I was told to look in the back of the store. I find their customer service appalling; there was no assistance whatsoever, and the prices are exactly the same as at other shoe stores. I'd had this experience before and wanted to give Schuhland another chance. I ended up buying shoes at a shoe store in Schlebusch and received excellent service. The only positive thing about Schuhland is the parking lot right in front. Schuhland is definitely off my list; I'll spend my money where they actually want me as a customer.

Good selection. Brand-name shoes are often reduced in price. A visit is always worthwhile.

While they do sell children's shoes, you don't feel welcome, whether you have a child or not. The atmosphere is cold, and the sales assistants seem stressed even with just one customer. If you want to return something, you'll have to put up with annoyed eye-rolling. I'm giving the store two stars because of the good parking, which makes it easy for people with mobility issues and seniors to shop here. The whole concept is probably geared primarily towards this clientele.
Owner's response
We are truly sorry that you did not feel well advised by us. We take this very seriously. Your feedback helps us to improve. We hope you will give us the chance to prove you wrong next time.

Prices are okay, but the atmosphere between staff and customers is absolutely unacceptable. You don't feel comfortable as a customer here, but rather like an unwelcome intruder. Thankfully, there are alternatives.
Owner's response
Thank you for your honest feedback. We take your criticism seriously and have already discussed the issue with our team to improve in the future.

It's always a pleasure to shop for shoes here. Brand-name shoes at truly affordable prices. From ARA to Salamander, and from practical and comfortable to exceptionally unusual, they have it all. Even in-between sizes are easy to find. The advice and service overall are excellent. It's also a paradise for children's shoes with a very large selection. A slightly spruced-up old warehouse, stocked with shoes at affordable prices, and you've created my personal dreamland.

A good selection for toddlers too, and some of the prices are very good. However, the staff are incompetent when it comes to toddler shoes, at least the lady we encountered there was. I don't think it's unusual for a 2-year-old toddler to just stand on the sole of one foot and remain standing, but the comment was that 'the child just has to go with the flow.' And advising people to buy a pair of shoes because they're cheap and you can't go wrong is absolutely not true for toddlers either. So if you need shoes for little ones and want good advice, you're better off going somewhere else.

It's more or less a discount store. The selection changes seasonally. They also have more expensive items. For example, Goodyear. I can't say anything about the quality yet. Just drop by and see for yourself if you're in the area. I bought two pairs of shoes :-) They don't accept €200 bills. Luckily, I had two €100 notes on hand 🤷🏼♂️ I might be able to say more later. Cheers

A large shoe store at first glance, but unfortunately, there's a limited selection of reasonably high-quality shoes. The 50% discount seems to be just a bait-and-switch tactic. The saleswoman offered no assistance, even though we were the only customers in the store. She seemed more interested in leaving a note on our car threatening to have it towed because we were supposedly blocking a (not visible and apparently non-existent) fire lane. Bottom line: better to go to a proper shoe store.

The experience of our first visit: unmotivated and unfriendly staff! A small selection of low-quality shoes. The experience of our second visit: again, a meager selection of children's shoes. Our three-year-old daughter wasn't allowed to use the restroom, even though she desperately needed to go and a staff restroom was available. That's what I call unfriendly customer service! Never again!
