So far, I can only say positive things. The day before yesterday, in the late afternoon/early evening, I received very pleasant, empathetic, calm, and professional advice from a young, brunette woman (currently an apprentice). And the price-performance ratio here in the store (section of the store) clearly speaks to the quality and variety of the items and the overall product range. This is how customer service should be. I would gladly shop here again anytime.

A huge thank you for the incredibly friendly and, above all, absolutely competent service. I have problems with a heel spur and was looking for sneakers with maximum cushioning. The lady who helped me was incredibly helpful with my problem and sold me the perfect shoes... a true expert! 👍😊

For the second time, I was treated condescendingly and rudely by a short-haired employee at the store. As a paying customer, I expect respect and professional service – unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be the norm here. What's particularly frustrating is that the official Intersport website clearly states that returns can be dropped off at any Intersport store, ready for shipping – the rest is handled by the service team. (Source: Intersport Help Page) So why are customers treated as if they're requesting something unusual or unauthorized? Even more incomprehensible is their handling of price differences: If an item is offered at a lower price online at Intersport, it should be a given that you'll receive that price in the store as well – without having to justify yourself or "beg" for a discount. This behavior is not only off-putting, but it also gives the impression that they have no real interest in walk-up customers. Anyone who relies solely on their existing clientele (which will eventually disappear) shouldn't be surprised by a lack of new customers. Intersport Baltz belongs to the Intersport Group and should therefore adhere to the communicated standards. Currently, I simply cannot understand why they aren't doing so.

A huge thank you to the whole team and especially to Carsten. Customer service is a top priority here, and we felt very well taken care of. We were both unsure which shoes were right for us, as we both rely on good footwear for health and work reasons. Carsten gave us open and honest advice about which shoes were suitable and which were less ideal. I can't remember the last time I experienced such excellent service. Everyone is definitely welcome here. We'll be back.

Selection was okay, good brands with various models. Unfortunately, the sales assistant was very pushy. I told her several times that I didn't need any help. She still came over and said I didn't even know what kind of shoes I was looking for, so I left. Incredibly rude. You can actually walk on both asphalt and trails. There's a difference between a polite inquiry and an outrageous insinuation. Best regards :))

Not as much variety as I'm used to in other Intersport stores, but I got what I was looking for, while staying a few extra days than anticipated in Bochum and wanting to buy some work out apparel.
