I went to Drahtesel today at short notice because of a problem with my old e-bike. The gears were acting up. A competent employee resolved the issue quickly and without any problems. I was delighted and would like to thank them for the excellent service and friendly assistance. I will gladly return to Drahtesel again. Great team!

I have no idea what's going on since the move. I had bought a bike for my son there before. Now I wanted to buy one for myself and get a good quality bike locally rather than something from an online retailer. That was the plan. None of the three men in the shop even greeted me. One was serving other customers. Two were working on bikes. No "hello," no "someone will be with you shortly." Nothing. Hardly any bikes on display. After about 15 minutes, I'd had enough. So I left. Now my family will buy their bikes at a shop that actually wants to sell and acknowledges the presence of customers.

It's a shame, I'm extremely sorry that things turned out so badly.<br><br>The move has resulted in a significant downsizing of the business, which will be particularly evident in the smaller selection of bicycles, a much smaller display area, and fewer employees. After all these years at a certain size, and after just two weeks under these new circumstances, things certainly aren't as we'd like them to be. This isn't meant to excuse what happened, but to shed some light on the situation. So! Iv been in this store on 3 sepetate occasions. Firstly there is not enough staff. We always have to wait for at least 30 min before anyone attends to you. The older staff are extreamily short with us as if i was bothering him with my needs. After about an hour once we had concluded what was needed.... A replacement inner tube . i was informed it would take a week. Maybe im being dtamatic but i would have thought, if you ran a business selling and repairing bicycles, that logicaly you would have 2 departments. Shop sales and then repair, and 2 seperate teams. Its pretty unprofessional to have two staff handling the till, cosoltation, sales and repair. No wonder customers stand waiting for hours and why the staff are annoyed by the time they get to the next. customer. Saying that. it was an interesting experience but i wont be returning. Being friendly, helpful and punctual cost nothing. I suggest they get some customer service training. And restructure their business model.

Good shop. I tried to buy a very specific bike there. Unfortunately there was a problem with the supplier (Bergamont) and the bike I ordered arrived so late that I wasn't interested anymore. Anyway that was not the shop fault. They did their best and keep me informed.

So happy with the service I got. Very friendly staff and they were able communicate in English. This was the first time I went there but as I just moved to Bonn, I will definitely go again.

Great staff, very qualified and kind ! They explained to me the problem of my bike, fixed it and gave me replacement pieces, all for free. Thank you guys !

After some positive previous experiences, I got a dissapointing one. While requesting repair of a bike I was advised to book an appointment in 3 weeks time. I agreed and brought the bike on the given date with promise that bike will be ready next day. Next day I got a call that they do not have the part for replacement. After another week I got a call that they do not have a tool to replace the old broken part - and statement that they will order the special tool. After another week I urged them - the response is that they did not have a time to search and order the special tool and they propose to install some non-OEM spare part. Very unprofessional and unfair behavior. I waited/wasted 6 weeks and my bike is still in the same (broken) condition.

The staff are so eager to help find the right bike to suit one's needs. I've bought three bikes from here in the last year. The servicing when requested has always been delivered with a smile and at a reasonable price. Alexander has been my go-to guy, but I've found the other staff to be rather supportive as well.
