The owner is an amateurish hobby mechanic who has repeatedly broken my bike just to charge me twice! With his histrionic personality, he doesn't hesitate to yell at and insult customers. He wouldn't stand a chance in the open job market.

The cost of the tire change was twice as high as quoted for the first repair because "during the repair, it was discovered that the second tire was also damaged." I was only informed of this when I picked up the bike. When one of the tires went flat again after a month and I asked for an inspection, I got the bike back with the inner tube removed and the explanation that it wasn't a mounting error. A water test revealed a hole in the inner tube precisely at a seam on the inside of the tire, so it obviously wasn't caused by another external impact.

I assume you're the one who thought he could get his flat tire fixed for free because he was there a month ago or so. I told you I'd take a look at it, and if there was any damage indicating a fitting error, I'd stand by it. That wasn't the case, and now here we are. Too bad.

As far as road bike service is concerned, I've had nothing but excellent experiences here. Competent and often immediate direct assistance with minor issues. Several complete check-up jobs with parts replacements went perfectly, and above all, communication was always friendly and completely relaxed. Fair prices. My go-to place in Bonn.

Unfriendly, doesn't even turn off the audiobook when you enter the store. Completely clueless. Sells products he wouldn't recommend himself. Why do they even stock them then? This is NOT a certified master craftsman's business. Overpriced. Update 08/23 Whether it's a certified master craftsman's business or not is irrelevant to me. The condescending attitude comes more from the owner. That's all I have to say about that.

We wanted to replace the brakes on our e-cargo bike. We got an appointment in 3 weeks because spare parts had to be ordered. We showed up for the appointment but forgot to order the parts!!! OK, it can happen, I made an appointment for the following week. This time I was smarter and called ahead to ask... the parts weren't there yet but I had ordered them and they should arrive the same day, and then he called us so we could bring the bike over... we're still waiting for a call back! If you don't feel like it, that's no problem, but wasting other people's time is rude. I can't say anything about the technical side, but customer service/friendliness/trustworthiness is different.

I was there for spare parts. Specifically, for brake pads for the front wheel. I asked for the cheapest basic model. The owner took the time to explain what to look for when replacing them. The whole thing cost me ONLY €3. Despite being the cheapest option, the workmanship of the brake pads was more than good. I consider the price-performance ratio to be good to very good. I received advice, received the spare parts directly, and was able to install them the same day. This also saved time and shipping costs. Of course, I also compared prices online – and yes, you could get them cheaper and of lower quality. But the brake pads I got for €3 were great! And they still are – I was there 7 months ago. Admittedly, the owner's manner takes a bit of getting used to when you first meet him (he's a bit cheeky, that man). Still, don't be fooled – if you remain friendly for the first five seconds and don't let his temperament overwhelm you, he's a really nice guy. It also depends a bit on how you treat the person you're talking to. It's better to start off "slightly gruff" and honest rather than overly friendly and deceitful. My impression of MoO's FahrradManufaktur was reputable. I had no complaints. I'd be happy to come back and would recommend this shop to others. PS: It's really cool that you can just use the free bike pump provided outside! (without having to buy anything)

Absolutely crappy bike repair shop. My bike got broken and I visited this shop to fix it. Despite charging ridiculous high fee, the guy actually broke another part in the bike. Really crappy!
