Absolutely wonderful experience at Unterwegs! We recently geared up our entire family with fresh hiking boots, and Stefan from the store was simply outstanding. He guided us with patience and deep knowledge, making the selection process smooth and enjoyable. His advice also extended to choosing the right jackets for quick hikes,spot on! To us, what stood out was the professional yet calming atmosphere he created throughout the conversation. Since we had our kids along, we truly appreciated how family-friendly the shop is. The kids felt included, engaged, and even expressed their excitement after the visit,which says a lot! Before coming, we did a bit of online research and knew that retail prices might be a bit higher. But we chose Unterwegs consciously ;to support local retail and for the value of personal interaction, hands-on guidance, and the memories we were able to create as a family. And we’re glad we did! We’ll definitely be returning;for camping kits and more. Thank you, Stefan and team, for making it such a memorable visit.

I visited the shop several times over the past week to prepare for a long trip. The staff are extremely professional, helpful and patient. And the products are all of good quality. Strongly recommend!

What a waste of time. This is a city store for city people. Expensive, limited, same-old, same-old choice of fashionable outdoor gear sold by very friendly! but completely untrained staff that lacks the most basics about outdoor activities and the gear needed (which also is not sold here). This is a city store focused on city people who need a 3-layered goretex jacket while biking 200m to their bakery next door because it's cool to be outdoorsy, not towards people who actually get out into the wild for a weekend...

In addition, our buyers pay close attention to sustainability and production conditions.<br><br>Yes, we also have items in our range that make life in the city easier and make it as comfortable and safe as possible, for example to get to work by bike.<br><br>If you are looking for something more special in addition to the basics that you cannot discover in our store, please contact us and we will order special equipment parts to us in the store! Had a terrible experience in this shop, I would recommend checking any of the other nearby outdoor stores before this one: A staff member was following me around the shop while I was checking jackets, clearly standing close to me while I tried on jackets, but without interacting with me. After checking out the whole jacket section (since no help was offered) I asked another employee if they had a specific model in another colour (in English). This employee was very friendly and went to the first employee (the one that had been following me around) to ask her. They then mocked me in my face regarding me checking the whole shop before, expecting me not to understand them (in German), which I did. Outdoor equipment is terribly expensive, and the only reason not to buy it on the internet is for the customer experience and received service. This shop lacks on both of them and I do not recommend it.

They have some really nice products. And quite a variety, considering the store size. The staff are freindly and helpfull.
