Phone support was excellent. Unfortunately, the employee seemed uninterested. I wanted to order speedminton or racquetball balls, preferably in-store to get some advice – isn't that what Intersport is all about? Well, it looks like I'll have to buy them from an online retailer after all. What a shame! A lost customer.

I went shopping at the sports store today and have nothing negative to say. Well-organized on two floors. I was greeted warmly, received good advice, and found exactly what I was looking for!

I didn't feel very welcome. The door was closed, I went in, and was the only customer. I greeted them, but received no reply. I wanted to buy sandals for hiking, and when I asked, they showed me a men's model; there were no other options. When I thanked them and said goodbye, they didn't acknowledge me.

Although the store isn't that big, they have a good selection. The essentials are available.

I was in the store yesterday asking about new handles for Nordic walking poles. I was told they didn't have any, even though they were listed online. The salesman there showed such disinterest that I was truly disappointed in the salesperson's expertise. He could have at least looked it up online. So I'm forced to shop online. Which I don't think is a great option for a retail store.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Bottrop branch. Before visiting, I called to inquire whether a specific product was in stock. This turned out not to be the case, and the trip was not worthwhile. The sales assistant was helpful and checked the stock in the warehouse. Next time, I would choose a different store.

The store is small, with two floors, but it's well-stocked. However, I can't praise the employees too highly; while they offer good advice, they give more than necessary. The female employees, in particular, are very clingy. If you ask them something, they don't leave, but instead stay with you until you buy something, which is very annoying when you want to look at the products in peace.

I received excellent advice, including a gait analysis for my wife and me. We were looking for good running shoes. A complete success! We also added a few other items to our order and even received a nice discount. We'll definitely be back.
