Bottrop train station is small and not crowded. Next to the station are bus stops and a shopping mall containing many international brands. It is a link between several cities: Essen, Gelsenkirschen, Dorsten, and Oberhausen.

Super friendly staff, the bike is great too (an e-bike). The price is also great: €25 per day with no deposit. Elsewhere you have to pay that. Thumbs up!

The rental is relatively expensive. Which is understandable, since it's for a good cause. Anyone wanting to rent an e-bike has to register online at least 5 days in advance. That's too inconvenient. What if it pours with rain that day? Plus, you don't know what kind of bike you'll get. Maybe a small women's bike for a tall man?

Great opening hours and very friendly service. They even do minor bike repairs while you're at work. A fantastic initiative, also from a social perspective!
