I brought my bike in for repair with a flat rear tire. While the tire was indeed repaired, the bike is unfortunately no longer rideable. My point that my bike was working perfectly before was ignored. The possibility that it might have been their fault was immediately dismissed, and no solution was offered. Instead, I was simply told they couldn't help any further. The way they handled the problem and my expensive bike was appalling. I would absolutely not recommend this shop. Charging €60 for a tire change that left me with a damaged bike is unacceptable.

Hi Nina,<br><br>You brought your bike to my workshop for a flat tire repair on the rear wheel.<br><br>During the repair, I noticed that the right shifter wasn't working.<br><br>Since your bike has an electronic SRAM drivetrain, I initially assumed the battery was dead. This didn't affect the tire replacement in any way.<br><br>When you picked up your bike, I pointed out that the right shifter wasn't working.<br><br>According to you, buying your bike was a mistake because you keep forgetting to charge the drivetrain batteries.<br><br>Shortly after, you brought your bike back to my workshop because the chain had jammed behind the sprockets while shifting. I immediately helped you free the chain.<br><br>I was also willing to check the drivetrain again. Since the right shifter wasn't working, I asked you to charge the drivetrain batteries first and then bring your bike back again.<br><br>Please don't twist the facts. A really great shop! I went there for a new tire and casing, they ordered the right casing for my Rose bicycle, and I was even allowed to change the tire myself right in front of the shop and use the air pump, saving a lot of money since I only paid for the materials :)

Excellent service! Very friendly, the bike was ready for pickup within a few days, and the text message notification was very convenient. Card payments are accepted starting at €10. If I ever need a bike shop again, this will definitely be it!

I had my bike serviced here again (15 years old and older). It now rides like new! Mr. Lob and his staff take the time to find solutions to problems and demonstrate great expertise and a commitment to quality. They point out alternatives and can draw on their many years of experience. This is sustainable, customer-focused, and contributes to long-term satisfaction. No false promises are made here, but the maximum is achieved – and all at a fair and reasonable price. No wonder this shop has been around for so long and is still around!

Hello everyone. I've been cycling (in city traffic) for years. Several visits to the workshop and corresponding disappointments later, I ended up at "Auf Draht." Back then, with a different team, the local people took care of my bikes. At the beginning of the pandemic in 2019, I bought a gravel bike – relatively spontaneously – which I visit every now and then and – I can say with absolute conviction – is very well maintained and repaired – whenever necessary (phone consultations are always kept in case anything deviates from the original treatment plan). In addition, all the staff are committed to providing advice and support. A few weeks ago, just before a long bike tour, I came in and they listened to my bike and rode it to check where the creaking noise was coming from. They were right, it was just the pedal; the bike simply handled the trip south, thanks in part to the good maintenance beforehand. Bottom line: I've been a customer for years, I'll remain a customer, and I'll always come by, even if I live far away. Thank you for your excellent service, dear people! See you soon.

Good advice and reliable service. You can also change your bicycle tube yourself on-site, for example. You'll be supported with tools and tips. A clear recommendation!

I've been here several times and have always been greeted warmly. Furthermore, they've always taken the time to advise me in detail. It's clear that the staff have extensive knowledge about bicycles. I highly recommend this shop!

I was looking for a Shimano chainring nut at short notice, and lo and behold, their website was right: they had the right part in stock :) They were also super friendly and not at all hectic, although they probably have better things to do than sell €5 spare parts :D
