Awesome shop, excellent service. There aren't any dealers in our area who sell cargo bikes anymore, so we discussed it over the phone and placed an order. Delivery was absolutely fair, and they even threw in a free shirt. The owner himself made the delivery – incredibly competent and super friendly. Thank you so much, I'll definitely recommend you!

I made a quick stop here during my trip to North Rhine-Westphalia. A fantastic shop, very pleasant and beautiful atmosphere and excellent advice, thank you so much!

I was already a customer when Bilestation was in its old location. Back then, they were practically the only place in Cologne where you could buy an Urban Arrow bike. That was five years ago. The shop is more stylish now, but the quality, friendliness, and service have remained the same! No one here is arrogant, and as a customer, I'm very happy to be able to get an inspection appointment even at short notice. The prices are fair, and the guys are quick too. Many other retailers could learn a thing or two from them. Top shop! 👍

The guys are definitely competent, and I would recommend that anyone from Cologne buy an e-cargo bike.

The customer is king – everyday life at Bikestation Cologne! From the first contact, through the consultation, to the completion of the purchase. All employees were friendly and informative at all times. I was able to purchase my now beloved cargo bike here for a fair price. The Kettler HT 800 is a comfortable ride on and off the road. I will continue to visit Bikestation Cologne for future service and other needs. A definite recommendation! Many thanks to the entire team!

What a great shop! Two absolute experts on bikes, great service and top class consulting on cargo bikes!!! They not only care about the technical perspective, but even about the financial one!! They DO care how you can actually finance the more expensive bikes by informing you about all possible funding and support possibilities - WHILE not even trying to sell you the most expensive bike!!! This is saving pure money, making impossible things possible, and as such complete the service package both for your bike and your wallet!!! Thank you guys so much for your hard work, your great expertise and for the never-ending effort and support you spend on your clients!!!! We feel appreciated coming to the shop and in turn, appreciate even more that you are there! A big THANK YOU TO MARCUS MÜCKE AND MICHAEL MAUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately not a positive first experience. I walked my broken bike 20 minutes (flat tires) only to be told that I have to COME BACK on Monday 9am (I work full-time so this is very inconvenient). When I said I couldn’t, he told me that I should come next Saturday at 10am but to “be on time.” I asked if I could lock my bike outside to a pole with one of their locks so I wouldn’t have to come again and he said “sure...you can buy a lock.” ..... wie un-Kundenzentriert ist das denn?! He priced the whole fix at 150€ and I thanked him and left. I decided to walk the bike to Südstadt to my favorite bike shop, Stadtrad Köln. They were wonderful and helpful and priced everything at 90€ “schlimmste Fall” because they pumped the tires and said they would check if the air would stay in before they suggest changing the tires. Now THAT is customer service and a place that isn’t concerned only with making money. Tip for the owners/employees: Maybe it was a bad day for you, I get it, but I think you really could have treated me better and offered to lock my bike outside. Then I would have paid you the 150€ for your work instead of going somewhere else.
Owner's response
Dear Nahal,

As we told you on the telephone before it could be that you cannot leave your bike at the same day when we have too many repairings in our workshop until you arrive and we are out of space at that day.

On some days we have over 20 customers waiting in front of the shop before we open.
We only accept as many repairs as we can make on one day and depending on how much space is available.
This repair system ensures that there are no long waiting times and that the customer gets his bike back as quickly as possible.
first come, first serve!

Our first priority in the shop is to get sure that the bike is safe for the everyday use in a big city like cologne. So the brakes, lights and tires should be in a perfect condition and all the screws needs to be checked before you use a bike for the first time.

We talked about your 30 years old bike which you found on the street as you told us.

On that bike were the first tires, first brakepads and brake cables and the first light cables installed. The tires were torn and porous, the brake pads were hardened, the brake cable housings and inner cables were rusted and the light cables were oxidized.

We told you the repair would cost 130-150 euros spare parts included.

When it comes to safety, it is necessary to replace all necessary spare parts. we do not make half reparations to endanger your safety. and then it's just not enough to pump up tires that are 30 years old.....

Have a good weekend.
Team Bikestation
