They have a huuuuge stock, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I went back a few days ago to celebrate "Skate Shop Day," and they were giving away a lot of freebies with every purchase. So yes, I totally recommend it. Every time I go back to buy boards, the service is perfect, and every time I buy from their online store, the experience is just as flawless. That said, I much prefer going a thousand times more in person.

Best skate shop in Cologne for sure! Bought only a TSG helmet but man, the assortment in terms of decks is insane! Small shop but most walls are filled with stacks of decks. Staff really chill and knowledgeable. Go there and support your local skateshop. Cheers from France 🤙

Bought a couple of limited edition Mike Vallely decks online. They will be heading to Australia. Then had personal dealings with the owner Heiko after the sale. Absolute gentleman and top bloke. I highly recommend Heiko and his Skateboard shop! I will continue to buy decks from him and I look forward to dealing with Concrete Wave in the future!! Cheers legends!!! Adam

Edit 1: bad to good review as the issue evolves. Edit 2: issue resolved. Concrete Wave does not respond to emails, nor contact form requests, nor SMS messages. At least not those pertaining warranty requests. Or their email address info@concretewave.de is broken. Anyway, if a shop is super busy I understand one might have to wait a couple of days/weeks for the request to be handled, but at least give a sign of life. It's been nearly two weeks now since I first contacted them and it just feels like I'm never going to see my money back after my Thunder Trucks broke after only two months of use. Edit 1: @ConcreteWave: there's nothing in my spam folder. I suspect there is an issue between our email providers. Selecting "Return receipt" and "Delivery status notification" when sending the email doesn't return any notification emails. Whereas it does when sending to a gmail account, but also not when sending to my work email. I've tried sending the email from my gmail account now.

Super cool brands and super friendly and correct service! Had some bad experiences in the past with that other big german (skate) store, last time was even rude. That person from that customer service clearly hated her job. Something I just know that won't happen in this store. Happy customer here, hope you can keep doing what you love for another long time.

I went to Concretewave to choose my first longboard yesterday and I had a great experience! The staff was super friendly and competent, all my questions and concerns were heard and answered. I went out with a great, beautiful board that is within my budget. The store looks quite cool, nice atmosphere and a big selection of boards. Thank you!

I highly highly highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to buy a nice skate board. What an experience 😍. I am soooo happy with the purchase and they helped me a lot. I am no expert skateboarder, so they really understood my needs and helped me get a board with the right set up that suit my ride style perfectly. And lemme also mention that they did all that as close to my budget. I have no words.. They even helped me looking into an issue I had with my older board. Even when I was like, "it's okay, it's old", they persisted to help me figure out the problem.. That really highlights how much they care about their customers and their love for skateboards and fellow humans ♥️. Its a place filled with very happy positive energy ✌🏼. I am sure you will have an happy experience too. I walked out with a million dollar smile. 😁

Great selection and a very helpful and friendly staff. I had come to this store with a particular board in mind, and left with a different board that I could not be happier with that was 1) a better fit for me 2) more of what I was looking for, and 3) a better price than the board I originally wanted. They even adjusted the trucks for me to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it, and told me to come back if I had any problems with the board (thankfully have not had a single problem with it). Will definitely be coming back for more hardware and decks in the future
