Excellent advice and first-class service at the Zollstock store. Addendum from my vacation: The skis that were recommended to me and that I then bought are a dream. And the ski boots are perfect too. No more feet fall asleep, simply fantastic. And our daughter is also very happy with her ski boots. Thank you again for the excellent advice on January 16, 2023, and January 20, 2023, at the Zollstock store.

The nicest bike mechanic for miles around. Perhaps the last of his kind. I had a problem with my backpedal brake and gear shift. It was fixed immediately when I came in. And even a goodwill gesture. Thank you for a very special service experience!!!

Last Saturday, despite the many customers with appointments, I received "first aid" when I had a breakdown. The trailer had come loose from the bike, and I wouldn't have been able to continue my journey with my grandchild. We got home safely, and I thank you for the quick and competent help.

They're not currently accepting any repairs...it's spring, after all, and you can't predict when things might get busier ;-). Now, quite sincerely: I was able to get an appointment at Fahrrad Schäfer on Hermeskeiler Platz (repair by tomorrow), but not with you. Incidentally, I also gave the other bike shops negative reviews. Objectively speaking, the customer is better off at Fahrrad Schäfer. A lack of qualified staff is no excuse, especially since they offered me the option of doing it myself. If you think every Google review is just a rant from a disgruntled citizen, that's your prerogative. Let's leave the interpretation aside and stick to the facts, which might actually help a customer who would otherwise make a wasted trip.

Hello Mr. Robert Oehl,<br><br>First of all: We generally respond to criticism with great understanding in order to address any shortcomings on our end.<br><br>Regarding this matter: I unfortunately see no shortcoming on the part of our employee or our service capabilities. The colleague offered you an appointment by the end of next week. This means we are faster than most bicycle repair shops can offer during peak season. If you wish to offer sarcastic criticism, you are of course free to do so, but please bear in mind that we haven't been able to find additional qualified staff since 2020. In your opinion, how are we supposed to serve customers who have scheduled appointments for their bicycles if their bikes aren't ready on time?<br><br>In summary: justified criticism is welcome… but venting frustration publicly… please refrain!<br><br>Sincerely,<br>Tom

I bought a trekking bike there over the weekend. Excellent advice, great service, and friendly staff. I had a long and thorough test ride with various models. The recommended and ultimately chosen offer was absolutely fair (it turned out to be the test winner). I'm usually more of an online shopper, but I was so glad I didn't order it anonymously on the internet. Otherwise, as someone who's not very handy, I'd probably be stuck with a bunch of expensive individual parts and impersonal, unresponsive service.

This shop consists of a sales area for (cycling) sports (clothing, bicycles, and accessories) and a separate bicycle repair shop next door. You can often find great bargains in the shop (e.g., brand-name sportswear for a fraction of the regular price – usually right by the entrance). I recently bought a special light (which can be installed under the basket) for my mother's bike for only €15. Bicycle Repair Shop: Good and free advice, including a quick, on-the-spot analysis (the customer's problem is first verified, and then a solution is suggested). They take their time, even when it's busy. Personally, I've found that this isn't always a given. The costs are often quite reasonable for top-notch service. Appointments are also frequently available quickly (e.g., drop off your bike in the evening and pick it up the following day at noon/afternoon).

First-class service! I can only recommend it! I jammed my gears while changing my bike tire on Saturday, and my neighbor recommended this shop. I arrived half an hour before closing time, and the employees were incredibly friendly and courteous. The problem was fixed in no time, and I was able to ride again right away. I didn't have to pay anything! Thank you again!

My bike had a flat tire, and I desperately wanted to get back on the road as quickly as possible in this beautiful weather. Every other bike shop nearby turned me away, saying it was peak season. The friendly guys who helped with my sore muscles helped me immediately and without any complications. After 10 minutes, I was back on the road! My husband then decided to buy his bike there. We received good advice and left the shop with two great bikes, heading for the sunset! Thanks so much, guys! (...and the others missed out on a deal!)

Whenever I come, I get help promptly, so my old carrot is back on the road in no time. The advice is excellent, and they even give tips on saving money. I've never been talked down to here, which I unfortunately experienced a lot at my previous bike shop. The guys are relaxed and have a casual tone. However, I never find it rude; rather, they're friendly and appropriate for the industry. After all, this isn't a 5-star hotel. Therefore, I don't fully understand the negative reviews. I'm very satisfied, keep it up, guys, and a big thank you :-)

The customer service was absolutely atrocious. No "thank you for your order," no "we wish you a pleasant evening," no one to hold the door open for me so I could easily walk out with my bike—why would they, I didn't pay for that. Instead, we got a dismissive "you wanted new tires, you wanted new pedals" as we went through the order. You should keep this employee away from customers if you care about your company's reputation. Things have gone downhill since the staff change. I was a customer for years, but I'll never come back. What a shame.
