Hired a city bike for a few hours, a great way to see a bit of the city and surrounding places. Cologne is a bike friendly city and there are many dedicated cycle lanes, and even where you share the road with other vehicles you will not have programs. Radstation were helpful, and the prices are for value.

Very unreliable! We called a couple of days in advance to make sure that we can reserve a bicycle online, and they told us that we should not worry about reserving them and if we will just walk in they will definitively have a lot of bikes. It was important for me as I traveled all the way from the Netherlands. When I arrived, they didn’t have even one bicycle available… And the guy was not even sorry, just “no, not today”. Some German people tried to explain him that we called in advance (so it definitely wasn’t a language miscommunication), but it didn’t help.

We tried to explain the facts to ourselves, but in fact we - bike station at the main train station - always have a really large selection of normal bicycles of all kinds on site, so it can't really be that "not one" was in stock. Frankly speaking, the speed, quality, availability and repair pricing of this center is excellent!! At this point of time, while no bike shop was ready to repair my bike unless leaving it for a few weeks, they repaired my bike quite fast and with a nice price, in addition to giving me an spare bike for free for my daily use until the bike is fixed!!!!! That’s the service standard..

So disappointed. We visited 3 years ago in 2019 with our two children and hired bikes here for 3 hours which we enjoyed very much - a highlight of our trip. We were looking forward to repeating the experience this time so I emailed a few days before we arrived to ask for advice before booking. I got a fast and polite reply suggesting we turn up and they would work out what was most suitable. So we arrived on Wednesday excited to go cycling. However we were very disappointed to find that there was only one child bike available and that it was way too big for my daughter. The staff were very unhelpful and seemed to lack knowledge, suggesting she could ride the bike even though she could hardly reach the pedals. I asked about a Kinder Anhänger (tag along) but the guy just shrugged unhelpfully and said they were reserved. I asked if maybe we could reserve bikes for tomorrow and he just said no, no explanation or apology. I asked if there was somewhere else we could try and again he just shrugged and said he didn’t know. We just had to walk away disappointed. I see from other reviews that the staff don’t speak English but I was speaking German which I speak well enough to get by so I don’t think there was any misunderstanding. I understand also that this is a social initiative, but it would be so much better if a manager was available to deal with slightly more complicated enquiries. Please tell me what we should do next time to avoid disappointment? (The two stars are because we had a great experience 3 years ago and for the fast and professional reply to my email).

We would like to sincerely apologize for this!<br><br>We actually don't have a large selection of children's bikes because they are actually not often in demand. Nevertheless, safety is a top priority for us, so a bike for children must fit!!! We take this as an opportunity to think about an expansion of the "children's vehicle fleet".<br>Our employees usually get along quite well with the Google Translator, but in this case it wouldn't have helped either. Unfortunately, our employee was simply not service-oriented enough. And unfortunately we also have to deal with staff shortages, so that a manager is not always available. However, we will ask our employees to call one of our branches to ask for support.<br><br>Please give us one more chance. Next time you come, please send us an email to radstation@invia-koeln.de. I rented a city bike for 24 hours. The guy working was nice, and the bike was good. The only reason I give four stars is because if you're tall like me (1,90m), the bike will be very uncomfortable. I don't think they have larger sizes. If you're shorter, it will be good.

Great place to hire a bike! It was €7 for 3 hours (with a refundable €50 deposit) and although the man that served us didn't speak English, we figured everything out through pointing and Google Translate. The bikes were fantastic! Easy to use and we rode all around town and along the river.

Great service and very friendly & helpful gentlemen. Rented two bikes for a day and had a flat tire halfthrough the trip, brought the bike back and decided to postpone our trip around Cologne for another day. Our flexibility mirrors in the flexibility of the shop, we were able to reserve the bike for the next day for a great price. Would recommend!

Rented these bikes for a 4 hour leisurely ride down the Rhine. Very comfortable bikes with big comfy seats, 7 speeds. Friendly gentleman worked at the place, and price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I rented on an absolutely freezing day in March but the staff were so nice and helpful and I was on my way so quickly… Very efficient… Perfect location… Great bike and it didn’t cost a fortune. Thank you all. Vielen dank.

Super easy to handle bikes. Very handy Locking System. Paid 10 Euro for 24 hours. Best way to discover cologne. Very good service.
