Rented ski boots, price was okay, but the advice for people who don't know much about them was poor, and I had open wounds after 5 days of skiing.

At the same time, we are very sorry that you were not satisfied with the advice and that you experienced discomfort from the ski boots during your ski vacation.<br><br>According to our records, the boot stiffness and model were a good fit for you as a beginner, as was your foot width, which is why the selection was generally appropriate. This makes it all the more important to consider possible causes of discomfort in a differentiated way. Besides the fit, shin pain can also be caused by incorrect layering, for example, if ski pants, thermal underwear, or the snow gaiter slip into the ski boot and cause additional pressure. This is a common problem that, unfortunately, often only becomes apparent after several days of skiing.<br><br>For context, we would like to add that we sell and rent several hundred ski boots specifically for beginners every year, have over 30 years of expertise in this field, and place great value on thorough consultation. Therefore, we always offer a free foot analysis to help you find the right boot.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought skis at Südstadtsport in Cologne-Longerich and I'm absolutely thrilled. The advice I received was extremely competent, honest, and tailored to my needs. They took plenty of time, and the service was truly top-notch. Based on this very positive experience, we'll be getting the whole family kitted out there next Saturday. Highly recommended!

It seems absolutely nothing is possible without an in-person appointment. Apparently, there's so little time that even a simple question can't be answered. It's a real shame, especially if you actually want to support local businesses.

Absolutely amazing! Skiing 🎿 I've never experienced such excellent advice and boot fitting in all my years as a ski instructor. With expertise and a great deal of patience, they tried on and adjusted boots until I found THE perfect pair that fits me best. The skis were perfectly tailored to my preferences and needs. Plus, the ski service was outstanding! All at a fair price – not just happy to come back, but I'll definitely be back. Thank you for the advice 🫶🏼

The running shoe consultation here was truly excellent! The team conducted a thorough foot analysis and offered a detailed gait analysis to find the perfect shoe for me and my needs. I was particularly impressed by their wide selection of pronation shoes (I wasn't familiar with the term myself, but they explained it brilliantly). Great service and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!
