I've been here twice in the last 12 months: The first time, he repaired my gear shifter for under €20 within a day, and the second time, he straightened my rubbing rear wheel with a single movement in a minute, free of charge. It's a one-man operation, and the owner is a competent bike repairman. I think it's perfectly fine and entirely legitimate that he can't offer the same level of customer service as a large shop with several employees. Therefore, I can't understand all the negative comments – he's just a typical Cologne biker! Anyone who can't handle direct communication should probably go to one of the big chains that have their own customer service department. The negative comments shock me, and I wish we could all be a little nicer to each other. The man knows his bikes – he might not be perfect in every other area of his business, but who is? And for those of you who have never had a bad day, or even performed poorly at work, feel free to vent here ✌️ I'm definitely very happy and satisfied with our Rodenkirchen bike mechanic and I'm glad we even have one ❤️

I called yesterday because my front tire was losing air. I went there this morning – as agreed – and an hour later I was able to pick up my bike with a new inner tube in the front tire. The price was more than reasonable. Mr. Kaufmann is exceptionally friendly! I'm so glad I got help so quickly!

I called spontaneously because of a problem with my gearshift. I was able to come in right away, and the problem was professionally fixed within 5 minutes. Quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. Thanks for the friendly service!

I cannot recommend this service! The customer service is extremely unfriendly, starting with the initial phone call. After politely inquiring whether my bicycle was ready (two weeks past the agreed completion date), I was met with comments like, "I would have called when it was ready." It was supposed to have a check-up and a repair. Only the repair was carried out, which cost €7 more than originally agreed upon, without any explanation. The check-up simply wasn't done. Meanwhile, patching the tire took three weeks. I am extremely disappointed with the value for money and, combined with the terrible customer service, would give zero stars if I could. A real shame.

Called spontaneously this morning and were able to bring both bikes over one after the other. Finished within 3 hours! Mega competent, very friendly owner, always happy! Absolute recommendation! This review comes from the heart and voluntarily!

My tire broke down this morning on my way to work. I called them on the spur of the moment and they were able to come right away! The flat was repaired in 15 minutes and I was able to continue cruising with a new inner tube and tire. Fantastic service! The price and performance were excellent!
