Best bike repair shop ever! My bike, now over 15 years old, had been declared beyond repair by a hobby mechanic in my old town. "Just replacing the headset and wheel will cost you several hundred euros! You'd be better off scrapping it." At MaWi's: A mere €85. - And for that price, not only was the headset replaced, but also new brake pads front and rear, a new rear brake cable, the handlebars and brake levers adjusted, the wheel greased and tightened, the chain cleaned and lubricated - oh yeah, and just for good measure: tires pumped up. ;-) He only replaces what's necessary, is reliable with appointments, and his pricing is really down-to-earth. Thanks to MaWi, I'm back on the road in top shape, and at a truly fair price.

Absolutely fantastic bike repair shop! I've been there three times now; initially, I needed a new hydraulic brake system for my trekking bike, among other things. All the work was done perfectly. The value for money is excellent! Since then, I've been going there annually for servicing (I need new brake pads, a new chain, and fine-tuning of my gears every year) and I'm completely satisfied. A little tip: all (good) bike repair shops are booked up in spring and summer; it's best to drop your bike off in autumn/winter to avoid a long wait. I can wholeheartedly recommend Zweirad MaWi and will always be happy to return.

I took my bike to Zweirad MaWi for the first time because my rear wheel with the hub gear broke and my regular repair shop was closed for vacation. I had specifically pointed out the hub gear to the employee/owner, and they assured me it wouldn't be a problem. One day after picking it up, I noticed that the rear wheel was braking on its own. My regular repair shop subsequently determined that the rear wheel bolts hadn't been properly tightened, causing €130 in damage to the hub gear. When I asked about the incident, the owner of Zweirad MaWi responded defensively and unconstructively. My bike has since been repaired, and I will avoid Zweirad MaWi in the future.

Fast, straightforward service at a fair price. My gear cable had snapped, and my initial inquiries at other repair shops had waiting times of two weeks or more. A quick call here, and I was able to drop my bike off immediately. They were able to squeeze it in quickly. Two days later, I was able to pick up my bike, and everything went smoothly.

I have a very old bike and I’ve received only good service every time over the past 10+ years. The owner is to the point and honest. Good advice and prices but always super busy so allow some time. To the person who left the poor review about not speaking in English is absolutely unfair. My German is horrible and we were still able to communicate the problem and solution. The owner never made me feel like he was turning away service. Speaking English is always a plus, but that is not the service he is offering!
