Extremely user unfriendly process of Click and collect through the web site. First, it is only available "on the same day" or in-between after tomorrow and After-After tomorrow. And if I want to collect it tomorrow? No explanation. Also, they promised Rabatt Code, but I saw no field to paste it into. As I went to the previous page, and did not find it there either, the option "collect today" disappeared in this shop... As a result, Decathlon did not sell me anything and did not make any money, I don't have want I wanted to buy and, additionally, got upset

I recently left my hat at the dressing room here. And only realized it after returning home in the evening. I wrote a short email to the shop and got the reply the second day early in the morning, telling me that they have found my hat and it is ready for pickup. This is a small thing, but makes me very happy.

DECATHLON is known to be the best and biggest store in town accommodating several indigenous and other brands. We visited on October 4th, 2023. There was a huge sale on several items. You may find sports wear from training to running to several sports. I tried to find trousers, unfortunately my size in adidas was not available. However we bought a pair of ASICS shoes . Luckily we got 50% discount and a very high quality pair of shoes was only 49.9 euros. The store is huge and consisting ground and first floor, separated by type of sports. One drawback there is no box of shoes and no bag available, you need to bring you bag to carry items or buy a bag at shop. Payment is both cash and card. Overall I was recommended and I am recommending the same to visitors to give a try. I am sure you shall find something of your requirement. Good luck

The prices are good for the products, but the same cannot be said for the staff... I wanted to be adviced by the staff for a bycicle, got assured that they will come, but they did not show up again. That was very rude. If you don't know what exactly to buy, then this place is not for you.

The store in dortmund has limited pieces of everything. I would eish they kept more of Salomon boots esp quest 4D3 and Quest4, other mountaineering/ hiking manufacturers as well. It needs a lot of equipment selection remanaging. World has moved a lot and selection has become far more broad spectrum. However for 90% to 95% people would use what is available here. Unless you are into specialised highest end of any sport, you wont need anything more than whats available here and the prices of Decathlon is best ive seen. I have arcteryx equipment, TNF, Hilleberg and Rab. But still i got almost 400 euros worth of clothes today only because of worth vs cost of it. You just cannot beat the value they provide. This store has ample employees and we needed a xxl jacket; 3 helpers stood there till we got what we needed. This level of service is seldom in any store. Highly recommended.

A bag of mixed yet subtly disturbing experiences. One of the staff was very jovial and guided us towards the changing room. The lady at the billing counter though was a little unusual. We bought a winter running tee shirt and pants. She didn't fold it not did she offer a bag. She literally just discarded it on a nearby stool for us to take it away. We thought...maybe that's how's it's done here. So we folded it and placed it in our back pack. Surprised!!! We saw that the treatment given to the very next client was different. The outfit for them was being neatly folded. A bag was offered and accepted by the customer. The product was placed neatly in the bag and handed to the customer with a customer friendly smile. I still wonder, what we did wrong!?

Very well equipped sporting goods store. The size of the clothing and footwear is right and meets the right standards. Prices are acceptable. Even if the price seems too high, high quality staff should be counted on. The staff are very helpful.

I like this shop generally the prices witch is good, the quality good too, clean shop friendly staff, the most important in this shop they provide information about quality for each product. I recommend this shop for all.
