We were recently looking for a new bike for our son... we received excellent advice from Ms. Wurms. She took a lot of time, showed us various models, and even adjusted the bikes for our son to take for a test ride. She was incredibly kind to our child and listened carefully to his needs, and we as parents received expert advice. We would definitely seek her advice and buy a bike from her again. A month later, we went back for our daughter, but Ms. Wurms wasn't there that day, and we were "advised" by a young woman with long, blonde hair. It's a good thing we didn't have her the first time, otherwise, the shop would never have seen us again. She clearly wasn't interested and didn't seem to enjoy her work at all. She didn't show us any bikes, and when we picked one up and asked questions, she couldn't tell us anything. When we asked if the saddle and handlebars could be adjusted for our daughter, her only response was, "Yes, you just have to loosen these screws." But she didn't actually do it. I don't understand how they can let a saleswoman like that loose on customers. We give Ms. Wurms 5 stars, but since her colleague was completely incompetent, we could only give her 2 stars.

Excellent service from start to finish! Veit was always available and really took his time. You can immediately tell that genuine expertise and a passion for the job come together here. That's also why I bought my second bike from Lucky. Even when it was a bit tricky to load it into the trunk, he was happy to lend a hand 🙏🏻. Absolutely recommended – this is the kind of customer service you want! 🚴♂️👍

Unfortunately, very disappointing. We chose a bicycle for our son here. We were asked to make a deposit, which isn't even possible with Lucky Bike, so that was a wasted trip. In the end, it was ordered without a deposit, supposedly as a courtesy. What can the customer do if things don't work out? Then the bicycle arrived, and my husband went to pick it up. We were informed that the bicycle was damaged, and then they conveniently blamed the shipping company. However, it was clear from the damage that it wasn't the shipping company's fault (the bicycles are also very well packaged), but rather that it happened at Lucky Bike during assembly. It was assembled on Thursday, and on Friday, my husband went there to pick up the damaged bike. Lucky Bike didn't even call us on Thursday when they unpacked the supposedly damaged bike. It was clear that the damage was caused by Lucky Bike themselves, and they were now trying to shift the blame. How rude can you be instead of calling the customer and sending us pictures of the damage beforehand? They had our number and then, a day later, And a second unnecessary trip to Dortmund. Who pays the customer for the gas? Then they had the nerve to offer a €50 discount. But since we wanted a new bike and not a broken one, they "repaired" the bike, making it look even worse than before. So unprofessional, slapping on a coat of white paint in 5 minutes, instead of the bike's gray. Absolutely outrageous and shameless. When we said we wouldn't accept the bike like that and wanted a new one, they said it could only be ordered if someone else bought the damaged bike! So the customer is supposed to suffer the incompetence of this shop. They should have ordered a new bike at the customer's request; it shouldn't be the customer's problem that Lucky Bike damages bikes and now they have to get rid of a broken one. Absolutely unfriendly and incompetent. This is unprofessional and simply outrageous. I can only recommend Fahrrad XXL – zero problems, super friendly, everything went smoothly. Stay away from Lucky Bike. (On the right: the rudely repainted bike.) Professionals should be assembling bikes here!

I wanted to buy a bicycle inner tube today (Saturday) at 10:50 AM. There wasn't enough selection in the entrance area, and the employee asked me to go to the workshop because they had a wider selection there. Unfortunately, there was only one employee at the counter, who was tied up for 30 minutes dealing with a customer complaint. A second employee briefly joined me but then left again. After 30 minutes, a third employee from the back workshop finally appeared and was able to give me the correct inner tube. Better communication within the store would have been helpful – perhaps calling over a colleague who wasn't currently assisting a customer.

Best Bike shop in Dortmund I am personally satisfied with the service of Lucky Bike. I think the staffs didn't accompany at first so I had to choose a bike my own, later when I seeked the helpnof a staff I was happy that he was so friendly and he could talk in English he helped to choose the best cycle and its extra accessories. The staff also got me a good discount in after all I was a new customer. I would choose and suggest Lucky bikes anytime to anyone because I've been to other shops but I could find a bike which was satisfied my needs and budget. I got a bike with all my demands and a good price.
