It was very neat and tidy there. It was very easy to find the different departments.

The darts equipment is unfortunately more like a toy. The selection isn't very extensive. The staff is friendly, but their expertise in this area is limited.

Long-established shop, always friendly and polite; we bought our first Puky bike there thanks to excellent advice for our son.

Love this store. Sports and games department. Running gear, football of course, winter sports...cycling. Huge selection of board games, Playmobil, building blocks of all kinds, and so much more. The concept has worked for decades, at least for me.

⭐ 0-Star Review for “Reiner Frütel Sport & Spiel” I called the Reiner Frütel Sport & Spiel store at Asterlager Str. 94 today to inquire about the availability of Pokémon products. I was explicitly told on the phone that there were plenty of Prismatic Evolutions in stock and that there was no need to reserve any, as they had ample inventory. So I immediately drove there – full of anticipation. The products were indeed on display, and I wanted to buy what little remained. But then came the surprise: First, I was informed that they were only selling one 6-pack of booster packs per person. “As a courtesy,” they would sell me two. I found that odd, but I agreed. At the checkout, however, came the real shock: They wanted €50 per booster pack. The official RRP is €29.99. For me, this is a clear and blatant overpricing far exceeding the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Regardless of whether children or adults are collecting, such prices have nothing to do with fair retail. When I asked if children also had to pay the same exorbitant prices, I only received an evasive "We'll see." That left me speechless. In addition, I have to say: The store feels dark, cold, empty, and extremely outdated. Combined with such pricing, it's anything but customer-friendly or inviting. Conclusion: Absolutely disappointing. I naturally left everything and walked out. Anyone looking for Pokémon products (or toys in general) at fair prices will definitely not find what they're looking for here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store.

I ordered from Amazon, and the item arrived on time. My son will be thrilled, and I have you to thank for that. With other sellers, the gift would have arrived days later. So, thank you so much for the fast and reliable shipping. I definitely recommend it 👍👍

Google gives one star, and I give one star for the friendly advice I received four weeks ago when we bought a Tonies figure. The saleswoman even mentioned their goodwill policy, which we could rely on for an exchange should our granddaughter, whom we were visiting on vacation, already own the same model. She cited competition from online retailers as justification. When the situation arose, things suddenly weren't so simple. Okay, the receipt had gone missing. These days, no one can expect you to guard those scraps of paper. However, a point-of-sale system like this one is capable of retrieving it from the database using the information on the bank statement. (Actually, the bank statement should have been sufficient. After all, it wasn't a refund, but an exchange of the original, unopened, and completely undamaged item.) Unfortunately, the cashier today was overwhelmed by the process, and the exchange was refused. Legally, of course, perfectly fine, but three stars deducted for inefficiency. Point to online retailers. Okay, the receipt was missing. Update: The exchange went smoothly and I received an apology. Therefore, I'm adding two stars. The store itself is okay, although a bit pricey.
Owner's response
Hello Mr. Scharlipp,
We apologize for this misunderstanding; you are absolutely right. Of course, we will exchange items even without the receipt! We would be happy if you could come by and we could clarify this situation.

Best regards, Your Frütel Team

Reiner Frütel, a household name in Rheinhausen. It's not (overly) big and a tadge expensive but theirs no alternative if your looking for something immediately for sport / presents. Staff are friendly and isn't normally not crowded.
