I visited the workshop because of a faulty gear shifter on my e-bike. Making an appointment beforehand by phone was incredibly easy. Communication on-site was excellent. Everything was explained to me proactively, and in the end, the repair was even cheaper than quoted. The owner made a very friendly impression. I can recommend this workshop.

I've been a customer at the workshop for a while now and I have to say the service is really great; you get competent advice. What I particularly appreciate is that they don't try to sell customers unnecessary accessories just to make a profit. What I also really like is the price; the price-performance ratio is simply outstanding. I enjoy going there because I find it very pleasant. Unfortunately, you can only give a maximum of 5 stars here on Google, otherwise it would be more.

I took my Canyon Grail On to this workshop for servicing. Besides the regular maintenance, a few minor issues (brake rubbing noises, etc.) needed addressing. The service was excellent, the necessary repairs were explained in detail, additional tips were provided, and the price was fair. Highly recommended!

Excellent service with super friendly staff: I had a broken chain shortly before my vacation. After a phone call, I was able to drop off my bike the same day and pick it up the next day, perfectly repaired. I'm extremely satisfied!!! They provide expert help here.

As a long-time customer, I can wholeheartedly recommend this shop. The mechanics are very friendly and always helpful. They always clearly explain the problem and offer the best solutions at very fair prices. They almost always find a way to repair your bike quickly and well. However, you should be aware that parts are always delivered on Thursdays, so you might have to wait a bit. Since my first visit, I haven't gone anywhere else. I highly recommend Fahrrad Gerresheim.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Fahrrad Gerreheim: A Review of Poor Service and Unprofessionalism As an avid cyclist and an engineer with a passion for bicycles, I have always valued and appreciated the expertise and professionalism of bike service stations. However, my recent visit to Fahrrad Gerreheim left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was met with an appalling lack of customer service and a complete disregard for my concerns. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others against the subpar treatment and unprofessional conduct I encountered at this establishment. My encounter with Fahrrad Gerreheim began with a phone call, during which the person on the other end claimed they could assist me immediately. Eager to have my front gear mechanism looked at, I made my way to the service station with high hopes. Little did I know that my enthusiasm would soon be met with dismissive behavior and a complete refusal to address my concerns. Upon arriving at Fahrrad Gerreheim, I was shocked to find that the service technician, without even taking a cursory glance at my bicycle, immediately declared that the front gear mechanism was broken. As someone knowledgeable about engineering and bicycles, I politely requested a closer inspection, as I believed the issue could likely be resolved with a simple adjustment. To my disbelief, the technician responded with condescension and arrogance, suggesting that I either leave my bike there or go to another shop. This dismissive attitude was not only disrespectful but also entirely unprofessional. As a customer seeking assistance, I believe it is reasonable to expect a service provider to take the time to thoroughly investigate the issue at hand. However, Fahrrad Gerreheim failed to meet this basic expectation. The technician's outright refusal to consider my viewpoint or engage in any further examination of my bicycle's front gear mechanism was nothing short of a disservice to their profession. Adding insult to injury, when I politely inquired about the potential cost of the repair, including parts and labor, the technician brazenly refused to provide any information. This lack of transparency left me feeling deceived and uncertain about what I might be charged for their services. The dismissive and condescending manner in which this information was withheld further highlighted the unprofessionalism that permeated my entire experience at Fahrrad Gerreheim. In light of this deeply unsatisfactory encounter, I strongly caution anyone considering seeking assistance for their bicycle at Fahrrad Gerreheim to explore alternative options. The lack of respect, the refusal to engage with customer concerns, and the failure to provide even basic cost estimates demonstrate a clear lack of professionalism and customer-centric values. Edit 1: False info AS A RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW BY THE OWNER The owner said on the phone, if I come now he will take a look, but didn't say he had a lot to do during the day so best come another time, I am not having a crystal ball. Second, as I suggested, it could be the front gear mechanism alignment, he said with disdain, why don't you do the repairs, take my tools. Third, he said he has a lot to do, as if others are having a party on benefits, I myself skipped work to go there. Fourth, he didn't say , I am sorry I cannot look at it right now, let me send you to one of my friends down the road who can do it right away or faster, instead he said again disdainfully, go to the end of the road and get it checked there if you want , for all I care, this is verbatim what he said. Finally, I believed in SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES, otherwise I could've taken this to Stadler or any such good shops, but instead came to a garden shed , where the owner makes you drive the broken bike just so that he can look and tell you to your face , if you want it early go away . At least be honest and answer correctly, stop trying to defend your rude behavior and complete lack of professionalism and customer service.
Owner's response
First, they told me directly on the phone that without seeing the bike, they couldn't make a diagnosis and therefore couldn't give an accurate cost estimate.
And since there's obviously a lot to do in this weather, it's natural that customers might have to wait a few minutes.
It should be understandable that a mechanic can't just drop everything immediately.
The problem was explained in a way that was neither rude nor inappropriate in any way, and a price range was given. If they're not happy with a short wait time during peak season, a friendly transfer to a colleague is, in my opinion, perfectly legitimate, as this is also in the customer's best interest.

I wanted new brakes on my bike and received excellent advice here. The installation turned out to be more difficult than expected (new cables had to be pulled through the carbon frame), but they still charged a very fair price. I can therefore recommend the shop.
