One star is still too many. I strongly advise against ordering from New Balance. The company strictly refuses to accept damage claims. All decisions are made solely based on photographs; even if a defect cannot be verified by photographs, nobody there cares. Customer satisfaction seems to be completely irrelevant. I bought two pairs of identical shoes in the same size (just different colors). One pair fits perfectly, the other is extremely tight. New Balance refuses to repair or replace them, claiming they can clearly see from the pictures that the shoes cannot pinch. The case is now being resolved through my lawyer.

1 Star – Open Complaint (JD Sports Siegen, City-Galerie) On July 29, 2025, I bought New Balance shoes at JD Sports, City-Galerie Siegen. After only 1.5 months, they were defective. On September 20, 2025 (6:00 PM), my complaint was refused. Instead: Absurd excuses ("didn't wear them for 24 hours before returning them," "self-destructed"). Aggressive behavior from the staff. Security was called and forced me out of the store against my will. My New Balance 530s have split and come apart at the heel after only 5 weeks, making them almost unwearable. Customer service is unsympathetic and unhelpful, very disappointing for such a shoe.

Same here. My Gore-Tex shoes started leaking after less than a year. When I asked for a replacement/repair, they simply offered me a €20 voucher. What a joke.

Shoes simply weren't delivered: I ordered and paid for running shoes online directly from New Balance. The shoes simply weren't delivered to me. I think I'll have to take legal action here. By the way, the customer service is completely useless. Unfortunately, I have to advise everyone against ordering anything from New Balance.

What's going on with you guys? Don't want to sell shoes anymore? If you don't want to buy online, you can hardly find shoes in local stores. In Düsseldorf (the city where your headquarters are located!!!) there isn't a single NB store, and there are hardly any other shops with a good selection either. You also can't find your stylish Made in US/UK shoes anywhere. And for women with sizes smaller than 39, there's practically nothing (UK/US sizes aren't even produced). There's a lot of room for improvement!!!!

Incredibly poor customer service! We ordered NB shoes from an online retailer, and after just a few weeks, they started torn in places. Material: vegan leather. When we complained and inquired, NB simply told us they were genuine. Wow. Brilliant! They even wished us good luck with the return process. Regret? Not a chance! Anyone based in Dresden probably doesn't have to worry about their money... we'll remember that. Never again!

I ordered a pair of shoes worth almost €200 online directly from New Balance. After just a few weeks, I noticed a manufacturing defect. Customer service was extremely poor. No goodwill. Never again!
