This has become my go-to place! I bought a fantastic second-hand bike there, completely refurbished, and at a great price. Even though they're always busy, the staff always make time for me, even if I drop in completely unannounced just before closing time. Highly recommended!

When my six-year-old e-bike, which I bought from re-cycler, started making strange noises and the motor stopped working properly, I went to re-cycler—even though I had an appointment—but was still greeted rather rudely. They couldn't help me with the problem itself. "Ma'am, there's nothing I can do for you." Yet it would have been so easy to recommend a workshop that could easily source a replacement for the faulty motor and carry out the repair flawlessly. If you can't do the repair yourself, you should at least know and be able to recommend experts who can, instead of simply suggesting that the best thing to do is scrap the bike. Thanks to the internet and a competent workshop, the bike was saved.

A few years ago, I bought a high-quality Riese & Müller BIRDY bicycle here and now need a new tire for it. The retailer sold me a new tire for a very expensive €36.90. Unfortunately, it wasn't the correct original BIRDY tire. At first, the salesperson refused to take the tire back at all, then—after several requests—a very grumpy credit note was issued. When I asked for a refund, the salesperson cited his job loss. This store is clearly no longer customer-oriented, and it doesn't surprise me anymore that they don't sell Riese & Müller bicycles. They've probably had their license revoked. I usually only write positive reviews. However, I was very annoyed by the lack of customer service here: Therefore, the one star I gave is almost too much. The owner of the shop responded to my negative review in writing, so I've decided to increase my rating to 4 stars ⭐️ to avoid harming this small but excellent shop. Because I've always received good service there, and I'm glad that specialty shops like this still exist and not those giant XXXL stores. Sorry ❤️‍🩹

Good evening Mr. Brand,<br><br>We always welcome constructive criticism, but it must remain objective.<br><br>The tires you purchased in our store are at the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP).<br><br>The tire is made of a very high-quality material.<br><br>The employee likely assumed that you would want to buy a high-quality tire for your high-quality bicycle.<br><br>Unfortunately, this original tire with the Birdy logo is no longer available.<br><br>If you had informed the employee that this was important for the resale of your bicycle, the employee would certainly have provided this information.<br><br>As you are surely aware, an exchange without a defect is purely at our discretion.<br><br>In this case, the employee acted in a customer-oriented manner and offered you a credit note as a gesture of goodwill.<br><br>At the end of 2021, the business changed hands.<br><br>The previous owner had also stopped carrying Riese & Müller products for many years, but spare parts are still available to order.<br><br>The license is still valid!<br><br>Giving a one-star rating simply because you didn't receive a cash refund is, in my opinion, not very constructive.<br><br>Your re-Cycler Team<br><br><br>

I've used these guys a few times to fix my bikes. The prices seem fair (though I've not extensively checked them against other shops) and the repairs are well done. They also didn't seem to sting me for unnecessary things. At least a couple of the guys there speak good English which helps if like me your bike German is limited. They can be quite busy but I think that is due to their good reputation.

There are always helpful to repair my previous bikes and the advise me to buy my new bike 🚲😍 really cool place, the service is great, and the prices are resonances they love what there doing!

Today I came to re-Cycler with an empty tire (it's 10-15 minutes fix). I critically needed a help and was ready to pay but they just declined to help

Sorry, but that's not quite right. Customers can help themselves to air at our service air station free of charge. We're happy to assist, but repairs are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Currently, many of our customers have small and large repairs that all need to be completed by specific deadlines. Every day, many customers come in wanting a little "help," which takes us at least 15 minutes on average. With four "minor" repairs, that's an hour we definitely need to meet our deadlines. We hope you understand.

Had a problem with my bike after a fall. The guy was super helpful & kind. After the fix there was a slight issue with the shifts so I went back & he gladly fixed. Would recommend 👌🏻
