On 6th January, I visited your store to purchase waterproof shoes for myself and my daughter. We requested assistance from a sales staff member, but unfortunately, the staff member was unhelpful and rude. We were informed that the required size was not available and were shown a discounted pair that was visibly dirty. We were told that this was the reason it was kept on offer. At the time of purchase, the product did not have a tag attached. After trying the shoes at home, we realized that the size was too big, so we returned to the store for an exchange/return within the stated return period. Initially, a staff member informed us that we should first select another item and then the return would be processed. However, when we proceeded with the exchange, we were told that approval from the manager was required. The manager then refused the return, stating that the shoes appeared to be “used.” This is extremely concerning, as the item was sold to us in that condition by your staff. It is unfair to deny a return for the same reason that the product was originally discounted and sold. Additionally, we were told that because we were not signed up as Decathlon members, the return could not be processed—despite Decathlon’s stated 30-day return policy. I feel misled and disappointed by the inconsistent information, poor customer service, and refusal to honor your return policy. This experience has seriously affected my trust in Decathlon Germany. I kindly request a proper review of this matter and a fair resolution, either through a return or exchange, in line with your company’s stated policies.

You can find almost everything here however some tennis shoes I wanted were not available for my size. The salespersons all can speak English which is a great help.

This company has a poor customer service and their products have poor quality and high prices. I wouldn’t go back to buy things from there.

I was there to buy a nose clip about two or three weeks ago. However, I couldn’t find anything suitable for my nose size, so I asked the person there for help. After searching on his tablet, he said they don’t have any other models at the moment, and I decided to leave. As I was about to exit through the doorway (down the escalator), a random guy with a long beard and gloves blocked my way and asked me to stay so he could explain something. I questioned who he was, and without introducing himself or showing any ID, he took my hand and told me to return what I took. I was taken aback and asked if he was accusing me of stealing. He replied, claiming that he saw me taking something. I told him not to touch me, but he mockingly responded, asking if I am a girl who didn’t want to be touched? He eventually let go of my hand, and we went upstairs to some rooms where he proceeded to search my pockets and bag. He didn’t find anything incriminating, and there were no cameras in the rooms. I protested, stating that he falsely accused me of stealing. In an unsettling manner, he started hitting my chest hard while laughing. I continued to yell at him not to touch me, attracting the attention of other employees. I attempted to take a video of him with my mobile phone, but he threw my phone away and stepped back. Their boss arrived and stated they had the right to conduct such checks according to a section of the law. He threatened to call the police if I didn’t cooperate. I explained that the check had already been done, but this guy insulted and hit me. However, the boss refused to acknowledge the incident, claiming that no one saw anything. The security guy searched my belongings again and said he had no personal problem with me, it was just his job. He eventually allowed me to leave. Sadly, I had no evidence to sue them, but I can’t help but think about how dangerous it can be when such power is given to petty individuals.

The best sports shop in the city. the employees are always ready to help and super friendly. Almost every imaginable sports and free time activity material can be found here, and the prices are really fair. Families or customers can try the things they want to buy right in the store. The place is large enough to allow easy tryouts of balls, rackets, skateboards and bicycles. there's also a shopping card available to makes payment easier and receive money back on every purchase. Overall I enjoy shopping from here and I think everyone will when they try it out.

Easy parking and super big store! It is convenient to shop here and the staff is very helpful. However, some product are run out of stock for long.. better check online before checking at the store.
