My rear wheel had a pretty pronounced figure-eight. After another repair shop had turned me away, saying the rear wheel was "untrueable," I visited the Mertes bike shop. The mechanic was very friendly and told me to come back in a week, and the bike would be ready by then. I picked up my bike yesterday, and it's running like a top-notch job again. I'd be happy to come back!

I bought my new bike here and felt very well advised from the start. Even though I was initially unsure, Mr. Mertes took plenty of time to answer my questions, and I finally found what I was looking for. As a nice bonus, I also took out the appropriate bicycle insurance from Allianz right there in the store – it was very straightforward. Thanks again for the excellent advice, and thumbs up!

A truly fantastic shop! There are many models to choose from and, of course, all kinds of accessories for everyone. Excellent service. The sales staff are very friendly and helpful and readily available to answer any questions. The products are of very high quality. I was only in the shop for a few minutes with my bike to ask a question, as I don't know anything about bike repairs myself, and they were really helpful. Even though nothing needed fixing, the two owners/employees took the time to help me. I'll definitely be back if I have another problem :)
