I went to La Dance to try the Act point shoes. The owner of the store helped me and she helped me really well. They have a lot of point shoes and a lot of clothing so there is something for everyone. I definitely recommend this store!

It's all in the delivery. I made an appointment by phone to try on new pointe shoes for my daughter. Since the first pair (purchased with the ballet school director) had been advertised as a discount for the second pair, I asked if the receipt was needed. The woman was very friendly and told me that a letter or receipt from the ballet school would suffice for identification purposes. She didn't tell me what else I needed to bring. When we arrived for the appointment, I handed over the receipt for the first pair of shoes (we had found it) and pointed out the one-time discount for the second pair. The saleswoman, presumably the manager, looked at me in horror and pointed out the fitting, which she said had to be paid for. The discount was only available without a fitting. Okay, then we'd just pay the regular price! When it was time for the fitting, the woman pointed out that we should have brought our own insoles and asked why we hadn't. Excuse me, this is my daughter's first purchase – how were we supposed to know that?! Okay, they could have mentioned it when I made the appointment, and of course, they could have also pointed out that there's no discount for appointments. The woman's manner was anything but customer-friendly. She only became friendly again when we demonstrated that we were good customers. My daughter needed a few things, and we did find what we were looking for. My conclusion: It's fine to explain things, but this accusatory attitude is unnecessary. In the future, I'll check in Mettmann first, because there you get competent and friendly service.

While searching for the perfect dance shoes for my partner, we received excellent and patient advice here. Several suitable models were presented, and we were also able to try them on in the next available sizes. In the end, we unintentionally bought the exact color matching my current shoes. 😄 Thank you so much for your effort and patience.

I came across La Danse through a Google search… I was looking for my first dance shoes… I received a warm welcome… the owner's son then helped me, and I was very surprised that this nice young man had a very good eye for whether the shoes fit properly… he gave me recommendations and also let me try on the shoes I had chosen in my size… what can I say… I ended up going with the ones he recommended 😉 I also picked up some new ballet tights for my daughter while I was there 😎 It definitely won't be my last visit, and next time my daughter will surely be happy to come along 😎

I bought my first dance shoes here as a beginner, and it's now my first stop. Friendly and expert advice. Ladies: trust recommendations. ;) The shoes I didn't find appealing on the shelf, but wanted to try on, turned out to be the ones I wanted. You're not rushed or pressured into buying something. Pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. Bought my second pair yesterday. :)

I visited this dance shop today, and even the window display is incredibly inviting – beautiful collections before you even step inside. Parking is a breeze at the Q Park Gildehof right next door (about €1.70 per hour), just a 5-minute walk away. Inside, I was immediately impressed by the size: On the ground floor, you'll find everything related to ballet and other more relaxed dance styles. Upstairs, it's all about ballroom and Latin dance – shoes, clothing, and accessories for men and women. I was looking for ballet slippers and briefly explained to the sales assistant what I wanted (split sole, canvas, etc.). Without hesitation, she gave me the "Vesta" by Wear Moi – they fit like a glove! I tried on a few other models, but in the end, I went with her first suggestion. You can tell she really knows her stuff. 😄 The sales assistant was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. I also asked about jerseys, and she explained that they're sorted by color, not size—it takes some getting used to, but the selection is enormous: short-sleeved, long-sleeved, lace, all sorts of colors. They even have accessories! Highly recommended! 💃🏻🩰🕺

I had a fitting with Claudia for pointe shoes. I have very wide/challenging feet. She was very thorough, patient and gave me every available option for my feet. A wonderful experience!! The store itself is beautiful and so well stocked with clothing and accessories. It’s a must go!

I really want to thank ladies from this shop for their dedicated work! The first poine-shoes of my daughter were fitted perfectly. I write this feedback after moving to other country and buying another pair of pointe-shoes. Now I know that mistake in fitting feels so bad and is so dangerous. Thank you again and again. Definitely recommend this shop to everyone

Yesterday, my daughter and I visited La Danse for the first time. It was very busy due to the holidays. Despite this, we received a warm welcome. My daughter wanted to buy pointe shoes. We were told that it's usually impossible to do this without an appointment. However, if we could wait, they would see us last. And that's exactly what we did. Even after closing time, they patiently and kindly assisted us. Fantastic! The La Danse team has certainly gained a new regular customer! Keep up the great work!

I'm absolutely thrilled! It was my first time in this shop, and even though it took me a long time to get there, I don't regret it one bit! As soon as I entered, I was greeted warmly. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they were always happy to help if I had any questions or needed help with sizing. I was looking for new ballet leotards and matching skirts. I walked right into a room full of leotards and skirts of all kinds. Leotards with thin straps, with wide straps, in a wide range of sizes and every color imaginable! I was truly amazed and found exactly what I was looking for right away. I wasn't there for a pointe shoe fitting, but I did have some questions about pointe shoes, which were answered very kindly. The selection of pointe shoes was truly vast, with several shelves packed with every type of pointe shoe imaginable. So, I'm definitely planning to do my next fitting there! I'm going to book my next fitting there! In conclusion, I can only say that I am extremely satisfied with the jerseys and skirts I bought there and I am already looking forward to my next visit to this store!
