Worst bike shop ever! Around €200 just to install a light and run a cable through the frame – two hours of work, mainly – and over €200 in costs? Seriously? That's ridiculous for a bike mechanic's hourly wage. Elsewhere it only costs €90 to €110. A complete rip-off!

I had a medical bike fitting with Anna here and I'm absolutely thrilled. I received a super detailed, highly professional consultation and then bought a bike and had it fitted to the measurements I determined. I love my bike and it's simply a pleasure to ride. Nothing pinches or hurts. I can't comment on the service/workshop, as I bought my bike in my town (a bit farther away).

I was with you a few days ago with my new full suspension bike. The mechanic, whose name I don't have, immediately adjusted the suspension. Today I was with you because of brake problems. I asked questions, etc., and the nice guy wanted to help me right away, but he didn't have the bike with him. We've arranged to meet next week. Thanks, I'm really satisfied.

Not recommended. We didn't buy the cheapest bikes there – and when it came to service and maintenance, we were left in the lurch. Unfortunately, I can confirm the arrogance that has been criticized several times here. Overall, I can only recommend the local alternative – I haven't regretted switching there for a single day!

SKS 11379 spare parts set, 5-piece set of USC lower guide bar clips, purchased for €4.95 (RRP) according to the receipt – but received only 1 instead of 5. One M5 Allen screw for €1.50 – not even stainless steel. This clearly signals that they don't want to see customers again.

I went there today with my e-bike because I needed two new tires. The mechanic was really nice, I have to say. He gave me advice, a recommendation, and the best part was that they changed the tires right away. Great! Oh, and one more thing... they checked and readjusted the gears, and they also looked at the chain and brakes and said they were fine. Thanks!

My company bike recently needed a service. Although I didn't lease it from Bergetappe, I was able to get an appointment at short notice. I did have to pay extra, but I'm happy with that because the service was excellent overall. Communication was good, everything I mentioned was fixed, and in the end, the bill was lower than initially estimated. I'll definitely go there again next time.

I made a spontaneous visit with a flat rear MTB tire; they replaced the inner tube. The usual tubeless-ready rim/tire combination is naturally a bit stubborn, but the mechanic broke three tire levers in the first place, took over 30 minutes, and then charged me for the tire levers: €48 for a tube change. Otherwise, I was treated well, but the prices are very steep. If you can avoid it, don't go there.

The service and repair were fine. However, we had asked them to simply remove the existing roof rack adapter. Instead, they installed a new one for €40. Unfortunately, this misunderstanding was at our expense – no goodwill gesture was offered. A real shame!

I can't say anything bad about the bike fitting; everything worked well. However, I have a lot to say about the workshop's expertise. I gave them the task of installing all the add-on parts on the new frame and returning the finished bike to me. The work ultimately cost quite a bit, but after handing over/taking over the bike, I was disappointed/surprised. The "technicians" apparently installed/removed the new coated ceramic bearings from Ceramicspeed without any tools. All the slots on the housing were badly turned, one bottom bracket (the right one) wasn't tightened at all (it could be unscrewed by hand; no torque of 40 N/m was detectable), and the bearing protection cap was dented. On the second ride, it started to squeeze, and everything had to be removed. Further surprises were discovered – like different spacers (shape, size, etc.), seemingly from all the old bikes in the company. Furthermore, the crankshaft protection sleeve wasn't installed, only on the left side. The whole thing would have broken due to wear and tear in just a few months. There were also other "minor issues." For example, the cables used for the Di2 system were too short – one of them gets ripped out of the distributor when making a sharp right turn, the handlebar tape is wound incorrectly, the end caps don't fit, and all of this gives the impression that you've just touched the tape for the first time. Stay away from this "specialist workshop" and save yourself the money for spare parts and further repairs. Update: The new photos clearly show how to handle PF bottom brackets. Instead of pressing them out, tap them out.
