I only bought new clothing through a classified ad. But the service was incredibly friendly, they offered express shipping, and even included some small gifts. If it weren't over 200km away, it could definitely become my go-to bike shop.

A top address for high-quality bikes in Essen. I had already ordered a Specialized MTB through Bike 'n Service in 2020. The communication was excellent from the very beginning, the negotiated price was extremely fair, and the bike was already in advance, so I ordered it from Specialized in the USA. However, due to the pandemic, my order fell into what was probably the most severe shortage the bike industry has experienced in the past 30 years. Bikes, as well as spare parts, were not available in sufficient quantities either in brick-and-mortar stores or online, and delivery times were very long. Like many other customers, I had to wait longer than initially expected. The Bike 'n Service team regularly provided me with updates on delivery times and possible alternatives throughout the entire wait for the new bike. They know how to engage with customers and work on solutions. Frustration - none at all. Thank you very much for that. After Specialized declared the long-ordered bike completely sold out, the goal was to get one of the first bikes of the 2022 season as quickly as possible – and with success. The bike has been in the garage since the end of summer. The introduction to the new MTB technology, as well as the initial setup of the fork and shock, was thorough, and I was able to ride without any problems from the very first moment. I am convinced that it is ultimately worth it to buy expensive bikes, especially technically sophisticated ones, from a brick-and-mortar retailer. I rate my buying experience and the regular contact with Martin Deutsch and the rest of the Bike n'Service team as follows: Customer friendliness: 5 stars Advice: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Product range: high-quality
