The owner disrespectfully refused to repair the bike, saying disparagingly, "I don't repair such junk." Just because a children's bike costs €180 instead of €500 doesn't make it junk! Especially since children outgrow them relatively quickly. I strongly advise against using this "workshop."

Went there today to have new inner tubes and tires fitted. I assume it was the owner who immediately told me, "No problem, I'll do it." I left the rims and tires there, ran some errands in town, and three hours later everything was perfect at an unbeatable price. I'd gladly go again.

My regular bike shop for over 30 years. Very competent and absolutely fair prices. One of the last long-established shops you can truly rely on. They also offer last-minute repairs. A quick chat really livens up the visit. You really can't ask for more. Always happy to go there.

Father and son Winkler are top-notch mechanics. They have excellent economic and social values. They converted my Red Bull bike to an e-bike in 2018 (using a Pendix system). It still works perfectly today, September 2021. The older owner, in particular, is always happy to help! A lovely, old-fashioned, down-to-earth shop.

A lovely, quaint shop. It feels like you've stepped back in time. I'm happy to travel a long way to buy my spare parts and tools here. I've always been satisfied with the prices, too. Best shop in Essen. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the bike mechanic who, with utmost competence, got me out of my predicament (flat tire/tube change) within 20 minutes. And during the pandemic, no less: Kudos! 👍😊 However, I'm deducting one star for the grumpy, very unfriendly older gentleman I initially encountered. That's really no way to treat customers.

If you don't get along with this gentleman, it's your own fault. He's happy to help, in a direct yet friendly way! The short waiting time and reasonable prices were also big pluses for me. I'd gladly come back!
