We were absolutely thrilled with our visit to the bike shop. Mr. Piet gave us and our son truly excellent advice and took an incredible amount of time for him. His patience, expertise, and friendliness were top-notch. My son is overjoyed with his new bike. A huge thank you to Mr. Piet for the fantastic advice.

Very friendly, very helpful, and very competent. And that's still the case after three years. I just got another company bike there, and everything went smoothly. I'm completely satisfied. I can only recommend getting a bike there, even if you sometimes have to allow a little extra time, as a consultation can take a bit longer.

Hopefully, I'll never need a repair shop again: The preparation and advice from employee Pete Völker regarding the purchase were excellent. I finally found a suitable bicycle that was in stock. However, there was then a four-week wait for a workshop appointment in October (which turned into November). I requested an inspection, including a check of the brakes and spoke lock. The brake turned out to be defective and had to be handled as a warranty claim through the manufacturer, Magura. After a good two and a half weeks, I finally received a call that the bike was ready. Upon collection, the following defects became apparent: Inspection not performed Spoke lock not checked Snubber for the belt was not tightened The brake already had a spongy pressure point in the shop, which was explained by the long hose for the rear brake. At home, I took it for a test ride, and the rear brake, freshly repaired, showed no braking power at all! Upon closer inspection, the brake disc was oily again because the brake was leaking. ... When we called to inquire about a bike pickup, they completely ignored us; we were told we'd have to bring the bike back in (about 35 km each way). Our initial conclusion: the sales staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable, but the workshop was anything but, which could have life-threatening consequences. Three weeks after the original workshop appointment, we took the bike back. They told us a new Magura brake line would be ordered via express delivery and the bike would be brought to us by the end of the week. We hadn't heard anything by Friday afternoon, so we called to check: they said the part had arrived that day and they would take care of it that same day or the next. On Tuesday, after another phone call, we were told the employee was sick, but another employee would be back on Wednesday and they would finally repair the bike. Then, on Thursday at noon, we received a message on their voicemail saying they needed the key for the battery because the brake line needed to be replaced. And this was ten days after we'd dropped the bike off! We won't send the key by mail, but will deliver it ourselves, as that's faster and safer. My bike has been unavailable for over a month now. We keep getting put off, orders aren't being processed chronologically, and all this for a purchase price well into four figures. We'll see when it's back at my house, ready to ride. Update: The workshop staff did their best, and on Friday evening the bike was back, but unfortunately not without its problems: the headset wasn't tight, the rear brake's pressure point was still off, and the brake light wasn't working, even though the service had already been billed. So we called again, and the bike was picked up again on Wednesday. To avoid another wait for a replacement part—this time for the brake light—they used an identical bike as a temporary "parts depot." My bike was back on Thursday afternoon, and this time everything seems to be in order, and the spoke lock isn't so stiff anymore. Update: The workshop staff did their best, and this time everything seems to be working properly, and the spoke lock isn't so stiff anymore. ... Furthermore, I was offered the option of having the bike picked up and delivered for the next inspection – if I wanted to have it done there – and a small voucher was also mentioned.

After about 600 km, I took my Hibike to Euskirchen for its first service. The scheduling and order placement went perfectly. The young, competent mechanics took the bike immediately and carried out the service right away, so I didn't have to go back to the shop. The advice on desired accessories was excellent, thanks in part to the good selection available on-site.

Since I enjoy building my own bikes, I needed something. So I cycled from Heimerzheim to Euskirchen several times to get a spacer. I explained what I was planning and what I needed. They said they understood and knew exactly which one was required. After three trips, I finally got it.

Repeated Flat Tires – No Solution Offered I had three flat tires on the rear wheel of the same bicycle within about six to seven weeks – each time the wheel was repaired here. The second time, the entire tire was even replaced. Despite these measures, the damage occurred again, during normal use on asphalt and without any visible foreign object. Based on my many years of experience as an everyday cyclist (over 100,000 km without a similar frequency), I consider three identical defects in such a short time highly unlikely and therefore suspected a systemic problem (e.g., mounting, rim tape, or material). I politely inquired whether the matter could be examined more closely and perhaps a more amicable solution could be found – especially since the previous repairs had not been permanently successful. Unfortunately, my request was met with neither understanding nor a customer-oriented response. Instead of seeking a lasting solution or at least showing a willingness to discuss the matter, I was told that it was simply "bad luck" and that I would have to bear all further costs. I was politely asked if the matter could be examined more closely and if a fair solution could be found – especially since the previous repairs had not been permanently successful. I find it regrettable that no interest was shown in investigating the cause more closely or in making the customer feel taken seriously. Technical expertise is important – but so are customer focus and the willingness to take responsibility when a problem recurs despite a paid repair. For me, trust is crucial when it comes to bicycle repairs. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to develop it in this case.

I met two competent and friendly people in the shop. The third salesperson, who sold me my bike, was very unfriendly at first. I asked a simple question. He seemed to take it as an attack or something similar. However, he became more friendly during the conversation. I also liked the workshop staff. I would buy another bike there.

We've bought several bikes here. We've always been very impressed by the expertise and advice. Furthermore, the selection is very diverse, and the prices are reasonable. The workshop completes all work on time and very well, and the costs are also manageable.
