A JobRad bike inspection: it was carried out well and properly, BUT: When I picked it up, it was supposed to cost €59, which surprised me greatly. I had requested a new grip when I ordered the service, but I wasn't informed that it would cost anything. I wouldn't have ordered it for that price. I also would have liked to choose the grip tape and have the same thickness. Instead, they fitted the most expensive one. I complained about this, and they told me I should have specifically asked about it. Really?! There was no understanding or willingness to compromise, so I paid the amount. I could have bought it online for €12 and wrapped it myself.

For me, this is one of the friendliest and most humane bike shops I've encountered in the last few weeks. I was cycling from Berlin to Paris and a spoke broke. The young man in the workshop immediately understood the situation and helped me out. And that was even though they only had 45 minutes until closing time. Thank you so much again, Tobi, for your humanity and dedication that day. 6 bike shops before me offered me waiting times of two or three days—unbelievable.

Initially, they only wanted the chain replaced, but it was a different part that needed replacing. Suddenly, it's not the chain, but three other components that HAVE to be replaced, costing €310... when they told them it was already longer than planned, they still said €46 just to see how much the parts would cost... as they said, they only wanted to replace the chain. Now the chain isn't needed, but their pockets are empty. It still works.

Thank you for your feedback, but unfortunately, we cannot understand your review.<br>You brought your bike to us with the request to replace the broken chain. When you checked in, I pointed out that it wasn't possible to simply replace the chain because the welded chainrings on the crank and the cassette were worn out. I also showed you that the rear derailleur was completely bent. You then commissioned me to prepare a cost estimate for you, which you then signed as is! The cost of €46 was quoted to you for the cost estimate because we didn't know the exact amount at the time you accepted the repair.<br>After I informed you over the phone of the planned repair costs of €310, and you declined the repair, you were charged only €20 for the cost estimate you had requested.<br>Please explain to me what we did wrong!

I had asked for a cost estimate for the repair of a child's bicycle. On-site, I was assured this wouldn't be a problem; we only wanted new lights and a new bell. In the end, no estimate was provided, and repairs were carried out that hadn't been discussed (it wouldn't have been worth it for the repairs to cost that much!). Had we been informed of this as agreed, we would have simply bought a new bike and not had it repaired at all. I'm incredibly angry!

I received quick and easy help here. I actually wanted to buy a new saddle, but that wasn't necessary; it seemed my saddle just needed to be adjusted. I didn't buy my bike here because we live far away. We were out on a tour, and my bottom was hurting. Thank you for the friendly service!

Highly competent advice! The team really takes the time to answer all questions and offers honest and helpful advice. The service is simply superb, and you feel completely at ease.
