I bought a pair of Nike Air Max for my husband at the JD store in Gelsenkirchen. I bought size 45 in the store. When we got home and my husband tried them on, we realized they were too big. I then went back to the store to exchange them for size 44. The staff refused the exchange, claiming the shoes had been worn outside. This isn't true. The shoes weren't worn outside; they were only tried on at home, and the tag was still completely attached, which I showed them. When I bought them, I had explicitly pointed out that they were a display model and asked if there was another pair in size 45 in the back. I was told there wasn't another pair, and I was sold the display model. Despite this, they refused to exchange them. The staff's behavior was extremely rude and disrespectful. No reasonable explanation was given, and I felt almost insulted. Additionally, I was supposedly given a receipt at the time of purchase. However, when I got home, there was no receipt in the shoebox. Apparently, it was kept. My experience at this store was very disappointing overall. If it were possible to give a rating below zero, I would. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Today I went to the JD store in Gelsenkirchen again. The store manager (🌟KEVİN🌟) was there and helped us a lot and resolved our problem. I was able to exchange the shoes. It's really nice to experience such friendly, understanding, and professional staff. He also apologized and explained that he hadn't worked yesterday and would help us today—and that's exactly what he did. Thank you so much for that.

I went to the JD store today to return a pair of shoes with the receipt, and all the return conditions were met. Despite this, a cashier refused to accept the return, explaining that it was Black Friday and I should come back on Monday. I am very dissatisfied with this behavior, as it shows a complete lack of respect for the customer and violates the store's return policy. It's unacceptable that I'm told to come back another day when I was there during opening hours and had all the necessary documentation. Very disappointing.

Today I went to JD Sports in Gelsenkirchen to buy a tracksuit for my son. The prices were clearly marked on the sales floor: jacket €80, pants €70. However, at the checkout, I was suddenly charged €160. When I inquired, I was simply told, "The prices have changed; the price at the checkout is the one that applies." I was also told that this is "how it is" in Germany, which isn't true – as a customer, I have the right to rely on the displayed prices. It was also very disappointing that no shopping bags were available, even though the items were relatively expensive. I found the way the cashier spoke to me unprofessional and not very customer-oriented. I subsequently canceled the purchase and requested a refund. This was a very negative experience for me, and I will not recommend this store.

Chill out. Not every male customer comes in to hit on the saleswomen. By the way, I threw those shoelaces away and bought new ones somewhere else.

I was refused an exchange for shoes, even though I was within the return period and presented the digital receipt. What's particularly frustrating is that I was able to exchange them without any problems at a JD Sports store in another city – no discussion or difficulties whatsoever. I also think your staff should be better informed about the return policy to prevent situations like this in the future. 👎👎👎👎👎

Not a store I would recommend! I tried to buy things four times, but the fitting rooms don't work! The staff don't respond to customer requests; they're preoccupied with their own business, not with the customers! They have no interest in their work! A staff nightmare.

The changing room was closed. When I asked, the cashier said it was due to insufficient staff, even though there were seven employees walking around. Then I called the manager, and she said she didn't have a key, even though you don't need a key because there's just a ribbon. One star is even too much.

It was practically empty. The staff were standing around looking uninterested. And then, when we wanted to try something on, we were told: "The fitting rooms are closed."... so we left everything and, of course, didn't buy anything. Sorry, but that's unacceptable! With that attitude, the store will go bankrupt sooner or later.
