“Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing. I ordered a replacement part for my Hobie kayak in April and was strung along for months. Despite regular inquiries well into the summer, nothing happened. In the end, I only received a curt reply asking if I wanted my money back, but no apology or solution. I desperately needed the part and couldn't go fishing, and I made that very clear. For other potential customers: I would strongly advise against ordering from here if you're hoping for reliable service. One star – and that's being generous.”

I ordered a sail from Catawest, but they clearly made a pricing error on the website, because after my purchase, the price immediately increased. They left me without any updates for three weeks, only to cancel my order in the end, without any explanation or apology. They wasted my time for nothing.

I bought a Pro Angler 14 and an Outback from Catawest. My fishing buddy also bought an Outback from them, and I referred three other friends to this company. Due to heavy use, the kayaks occasionally require maintenance or minor defects. Each time, I received competent help, and it was either a warranty issue or a suitable replacement part. My colleague had the entire hull replaced on his Outback after a manufacturing defect! The suggestions made are open and honest, as well as customer-oriented. Hobie kayaks are also designed so that anyone with a little technical knowledge can perform the repairs themselves. A broken cable on my skeg on the PA14 was replaced with a much stronger Dyneema cable; the replacement part cost €7. Installation was no problem with Catawest's help (thank you very much!). I will buy my next kayak from them as well.

I'm very satisfied 😁 and can't find anything to complain about 🤷🏼 The consultation was excellent 💪, the service is really good, and there are no problems 👌. I suspect that even if I were to have a problem, I'd get help quickly here 🤝. Everything is very straightforward on-site 🤝 Remember, what goes around comes around 😉 💥Many thanks to the team 💥

Highly recommended! The staff at Catawest takes their time and provides competent advice, as they have years of sailing/kayaking experience themselves. The customer definitely comes first! Truly fantastic!!! Thank you so much for everything...I'm incredibly happy with my Hobie i12s now in its third year!

I wanted to order some accessories for my Hobie Outback. After four weeks, I emailed to ask where my order was. I received no reply. Then a partial delivery arrived with exactly one of the eight items, even though the other items were supposed to be available. I returned that item and canceled the entire order. The money was refunded immediately. In the meantime, I received my order from another supplier within a day. What a shame.

Bought a boat for €4,300, first trip on the water, and it was defective! Took the boat back, they tried to repair it, but it was a waste of time. Short vacation ruined, ended up fixing it myself! Apparently, it was delivered like that by the manufacturer. They promised compensation, but didn't honor it. I hope there are other Hobie dealers with better service. I'm furious!

I received a warm welcome at CataWest and felt very comfortable thanks to the comprehensive and detailed consultation. The different concepts of the boats they offered were explained to me down to the smallest detail. In addition to the technical specifications, I learned a great deal about the staff's personal experiences and impressions from their own trips with the boats they offered. I was immediately invited to a test drive, which takes place once a week on a lake. I came away with a very positive impression and felt I received expert advice throughout.
