The last shop is this one: I wanted to get my brakes replaced for my bike tour... The response from Mr. Stratkopf: he wouldn't change the brakes on such a cheap bike; I should just buy one of his overpriced bikes... Now, about my "cheap" bike: it cost €4,500 with a carbon frame and all the bells and whistles. In the end, he actually refused to work on my bike. Really unpleasant and ridiculously expensive, that guy.

Mr. Stratmann is a very helpful and friendly person. I was there for the first time on Friday because of a chain lock, and the next day, before he went on vacation, he adjusted my gears. Now my bike runs like clockwork again. This definitely won't be the last time I visit Mr. Stratmann. It's a shame I can only give him 5 stars. Thank you very much, Uli.

Mr. Stratmann certainly has a lot of expertise, but he was unable to repair our motorcycle. We were repeatedly told it was ready, but it broke down a couple of times during the test ride. Finally, we got it back as repaired, paid a lot of money, and on the first ride, the bike broke down again. Mr. Stratmann feels he was in the right, and we've now taken the motorcycle to another, hopefully more competent, workshop. Update on July 16th: Our motorcycle was repaired at the other workshop. Now it's running perfectly again. Mr. Stratmann couldn't manage that.

Very nice and helpful gentleman. I had a flat tire on my Twin. The place was packed, but he took the time for me and offered several solutions. If I'm ever in the area again and need something, I'll gladly stop by again. Thanks again :-)

For us, this is the first port of call when it comes to repairs to our bicycles. A while ago, our daughter had a problem, but Mr. Stratmann was able to solve it. I visited Mr. Stratmann myself a few days ago after I was denied the repair of my pedelec "on the other side of Halver" despite a promise and repeated inquiries. Mr. Stratmann is an "old-school" specialist and carried out the repair professionally and with transparent costs. We highly recommend this shop.

A very competent motorcycle mechanic. I came into the workshop with a breakdown while passing through France. I was helped immediately and had interesting conversations with the owner – all at such a reasonable price that I can only give them my highest recommendation. Humanity is definitely worth something here, and helpfulness is very important. :)

I visited Mr. Stratmann yesterday. Everything I wanted was done exactly as I wished! Super friendly and nice. I don't understand the bad reviews here at all!!! He really knows his stuff! You have to take him as he is. He's a great guy. Keep it up... I'll definitely be back! Like I said, top service at a top price!! Thank you so much...

Mr. Stratmann was very helpful and quick in repairing my tire. We'll always go to him from now on – thanks again for the quick help – I'm picking up the tire today :)

We had my husband's motorcycle repaired there, including tire replacement. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. It's more than reassuring that Mr. Stratmann did the repair; he has a master craftsman's certificate, which isn't found in other workshops.

Finally, a real mechanic with a passion for bikes! :) I got immediate help when I had a flat tire during a ride… two spokes were broken, and together we fixed the bike so I could continue my tour… while other shops turned me away, here I was actually able to keep going. Of course, the fact that the day ended in the hospital had nothing to do with the repair 😎 I'll definitely stop by again on my next ride from Cologne! A thousand thanks!
