We've shopped at JD quite a few times, but it's been absolutely awful for the last few months! They lock the fitting rooms, you find a shoe you like, and then they don't have the matching pair. Okay, that can happen – you find another pair right away, and then the same thing happens again; they either couldn't or wouldn't find the second pair. We went again today, and the store was closed in the middle of the day! That's how you drive customers away! We're done with JD!!!

Because I can't complain via email, since the contact form requires an order number (which I didn't have when visiting the store), I feel compelled to leave a review. I was in your store in the Allee Center Hamm today and wanted to exchange a gift pair of jogging pants for a smaller size. Your employee told me that they weren't allowed to process exchanges until today (December 29, 2025) due to management regulations, but that exchanges would be possible starting tomorrow! Now my question is, how do you justify this? Your store wasn't busy, and I was the only one at the checkout. All the other stores are processing exchanges. What's your legal justification for this?! I paid €1.50 for parking at the Allee Center to exchange the pants so soon after Christmas. And who reads the sign next to the checkout that your employee pointed out to me?! Our entire family's conclusion is: we would never buy anything from your stores again, anywhere. This kind of poor customer service is driving all businesses out of business.

I bought a pair of Nike shoes for €120 and after less than six months of wear, the back has ripped apart. I went to the store to exchange them or find some kind of solution, even speaking to the manager directly, but she completely refused to discuss the issue. So much money for such poor quality.

Very bad experience. Shoes were advertised at a lower price than at the checkout. No goodwill gesture despite it being their fault. Never again JD. Beware! Another customer lost. Fantastic. Not even worth one star!

First of all, I'm a typical online shopper and only buy things spontaneously offline! But today I finally had a real shopping experience again! Fun shopping, laughing, and all in a JD Sport store! The two sweet saleswomen, Mia and Hanan, took great care of my 12-year-old daughter! It was so great, I bought myself some shoes right away! Please keep your friendly, open attitude! I'd love to go there again!

Here, shoes are marked with incorrect prices. When you go to the checkout with the items, you're told that it was an oversight (and that's happened to me twice already!) and that they can't be sold at the reduced price, and that this unfortunately happens due to a lack of staff. That can happen, but based on the reviews, I don't seem to be the first person to have this problem in this store. Have the employees not learned to read and write here in Germany, or can they not be professionally trained beforehand to distinguish between items on sale, instead of having 5-6 people in sales who can't solve cases like this. Just a few ideas to keep this store going.

I bought a jacket for my son a week ago. When I tried it on at home, I noticed the seam on the side was open. In any normal store, you can exchange something like that without any problems, but here it's not possible. Why??? Because there's no store manager, the others can't make any decisions. I was told to go to another branch; maybe I'll have better luck there. I've never experienced such rudeness and such an ignorant way of treating customers. Very disrespectful employees, no suggestions whatsoever to satisfy the customer. Buying is fine, but returns aren't, so think very carefully before you go there. Never again!!!! The one star is only there because they have to give it; they don't deserve any! WARNING!!!! COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!! Anyone who thinks they can buy something here and, if necessary, complain or exchange it, is mistaken. After over two weeks of discussions and back-and-forth between customer service and the store, I was even accused of taking back items I had returned to the store. So, money gone, goods gone!!! Thank goodness for security cameras! Anyone else having problems with this? I'd be happy to come forward as a witness; you shouldn't put up with this kind of treatment. Apparently, I'm not the only one, judging by the other posts here!!!!

A real rip-off store. They won't take their shoes back, even though they're torn and still under warranty. Not recommended at all. Especially the little boy with black hair and the manager. If there were 0 stars, I'd give them 0.

This store should be shut down because customers are clearly not valued. The poor customer service is blatant. When you walk in and say what you need, you're often met with a negative attitude: "Ugh, leave me alone, don't ask any questions, just go." You're passed from employee to employee without receiving the help you need. If you want to try on a particular size (shoes), the employees go to the stockroom and stay there until you leave, hoping you'll be gone because it's taking too long. I wonder if the manager reads all the reviews and actually does something about it? After all, his reputation is at stake. It would be desirable for him to take steps to improve customer service. You'd get a better welcome and better service at a regular, run-of-the-mill store.

I've never seen so many ignorant young people in one store. The "other" shoe was retrieved from the stockroom, but it was the wrong size. Oh well. He goes back and gets the same shoe for the same foot. Then he laughs and says he can't find the other one because everything's a mess. Laughs and leaves. I'm sorry, but you should be more selective with your hiring. You'll lose a lot more customers this way.
