I bought my hiking boots at Intersport Hennef, and it was one of the better decisions I made. The advice was honest, patient, and absolutely accurate. It's not about selling anything, but about finding the right one. My boots have carried me ever since, up and down the Siegsteig, without blisters, without slipping, and that's despite the fact I've certainly managed to put them through their paces. In short: These things can withstand more than I can. The price also felt fair and reasonable for a brick-and-mortar store. Sure, you can always find someone online who's three euros cheaper; however, they won't hike up the mountain with you if your shoes are too tight. In conclusion: If you want not just shoes but also the good feeling of buying, you should stop by here. You'll leave with more than you paid for; and that's the real reward.
