Thank you so much for the quick help. My cargo bike had a flat tire, and without it, I couldn't take my daycare children out. They came out to my place in Langenfeld the same day and repaired it. Fantastic service! I highly recommend them.

What started out very, very well ended in disaster. Therefore, unfortunately, only one star. Since the dealer from whom I bought my e-bike let me down, I looked for a competent alternative. I was thrilled when the company Antritt was recommended to me several times with positive reviews. I was even willing to ignore the negative reviews here on Google. The beginning was wonderful. I called Antritt and explained my problem. They took notes and scheduled an appointment with me. I was incredibly happy that it would be in just 8 days. And that's exactly what happened. I dropped off the bike there on October 16, 2025, and the employee in the shop immediately knew what the issue was and what needed to be done. He even apologized that they wouldn't be able to do it on Friday or Saturday, but would be able to do it at the beginning of the following week. They would get back to me then. Monday passed – nothing. I couldn't reach anyone by phone. Tuesday passed – nothing. No one answered the phone. This Wednesday, someone finally got through and informed me that, contrary to all agreements, NOTHING had been done to the bike. They also said it wasn't certain whether it would be fixed the following day. They cited staff shortages as the reason, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism. It wouldn't have been a problem to leave the bike there for 14 days if they had communicated with me. But no, I had to chase after my bike and then ask if they had kept their promises. I picked up the bike again today. As much as I sympathize with every self-employed person, when we make agreements and reach a deal, it's not my fault if I get angry because the workshop breaches the contract and isn't even willing to inform me. If a business owner upsets a customer, that's solely the business owner's problem. I could have saved myself the lecture on embezzlement, I'll admit that. I could have done without the instruction on embezzlement, I'll admit that much. But to breach a contract and then blame me because the business owner isn't fulfilling his profession, or rather, his calling, as his website claims, is absolutely unacceptable. The customers directly behind me were in the shop with a similar problem. It was somewhat entertaining for us while we waited to hear that Antritt either has the dirtiest display bike in the world, or that they were using a customer's bike as a demonstration during sales conversations with potential buyers. However, I want to end on a positive note. By canceling the contract, I was able to spare the owner of Antritt a troublesome customer, and the positive aspect for him is that he doesn't have to worry about me returning or receiving recommendations from my family, friends, and acquaintances. A well-deserved star and a well-intentioned recommendation for anyone who truly needs help.

Excuse me, what disaster are you talking about? We had a non-binding commitment for Monday, with a completion notification from us. Now, we didn't call you right away on Monday. We're closed on Tuesdays, and by Wednesday you're already talking about "embezzlement." The whole thing is so important to you that you posted about it not only here but also on Facebook that same day. You also write similar things about fellow dealers. What are you actually talking about here? Sincerely, Your Antritt Radwerkstatt

Unfortunately I had a negative experience with her. I took my bike in for repair and was very disappointed as more work was done on the bike than agreed upon. "Definitely!! Not trustworthy, would not recommend it. Next time I will buy the spare parts myself and fit them to my bike myself. You don't need to complete any training for this, as YouTube shows enough tips and tricks on how you can quickly repair a bike yourself, and you end up saving money too!"! Definitely!

Very disappointing. I had my bicycle repaired at this workshop and was not entirely satisfied with the pricing or the way the work was carried out. Work was done that hadn't been discussed with me beforehand. Furthermore, the prices for spare parts were significantly higher than what I've found elsewhere. I recommend getting a detailed quote for all parts beforehand and making sure that only the agreed-upon work is performed.

I went to the store today to buy a bicycle for my daughter, which I had been assured over the phone was a display model in perfect condition. However, the reality was quite different: the white plastic grips were heavily oiled and looked neglected. When I inquired about it, the employee explained that they could be cleaned – although it's highly questionable how oil can be completely removed from porous plastic. According to the employee, if the cleaning wasn't successful, new grips would have to be fitted – which would then be at my expense. When I asked to speak to the manager, the situation escalated. The manager came forward, reacted loudly and extremely unprofessionally. Instead of addressing my justified criticism, I was confronted with the statement: "Take it or leave it, I'm making a €5 profit on it!" – a tone that completely lacks any customer service. Overall, a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. This is no way to treat customers – for me, this was definitely the last time I'll be visiting this store.

Thank you for your review. I don't think your very detailed description of the situation reflects how I, my employee, or the customers who witnessed it would describe it.

However, I wish you and your worldview a happy life, but please not in my vicinity.

Sincerely,
Sven Alkenings

Excellent service, quick help, and top-notch value for money. I called Thursday afternoon and was able to bring my bike in on Saturday; I was having problems with the brakes. Then I ended up paying even less than the quoted price. I'll definitely be back and would like to thank you again.

Super friendly owner and great service. I had a problem with my gears (I didn't buy the bike from the bike shop), and after other bike shops/repair shops in Hilden turned me down or made excuses, I was able to drop by on short notice and my "problem" was fixed immediately. Many, many thanks again!

Antritt's bike repair shop is a complete success! The service is top-notch, and the team is not only friendly but also extremely competent. I especially appreciate their honest advice – they only do what's truly necessary, and the prices are absolutely fair. Even with special spare parts that several other bike shops and even suppliers abroad couldn't get for me, Antritt helped immediately. As a customer, you feel like you're in good hands. A well-deserved 5 stars; I'll definitely be back.
