I ordered my Walther GSP500 from RB Shooting and I'm absolutely thrilled. The entire ordering process was exemplary. The service was friendly, competent, and always available – questions were answered quickly and professionally. You can immediately tell that the people working here understand their sport and value customer satisfaction. The shipping was also first-class: fast, reliable, and carefully packaged. It really couldn't be better. Regarding the pistol itself: The GSP500 from Carl Walther GmbH is manufactured to the highest quality standards. From the very first shot, it impresses with its excellent balance, crisp trigger pull, and overall smooth shooting characteristics. It feels great in the hand and immediately conveys a sense of precision and control. Shooting with it is not only a sport, but simply a joy. My conclusion: Top-notch service, fast shipping, and a sport pistol that impresses in every respect. A clear recommendation for RB Shooting and the Walther GSP500!

Owner's response

Thank you very much. Best of luck and good shooting!

One star is still too much... I inquired about the cost of converting a Steyr LP5 from CO2 to compressed air. I was told it would be €240, according to their website, and that there might be an additional charge of "a maximum of €30-40, so nothing exorbitant." So, aside from their impeccable German, that's €30-40 in extra costs. However, the fact that it then took four months and that the €30-40 suddenly ballooned to €180 was never mentioned during that entire period. When I asked what accounted for this significant difference, they wrote on the invoice (in equally poor German) a list of everything Steyr had supposedly done. On the phone, you're treated rudely, and in emails, the arrogance is even more apparent. RB Shooting may have a great selection, but that's about it. Sell, collect the money, and that's it. RB can't provide customer-oriented answers, and their friendliness is nonexistent. My personal opinion is: NEVER AGAIN RB Shooting. It's a miracle this dealer is still in business. Instead of advertising on Google to attract more customers, they should invest in staff who are friendly and customer-focused. Oh yeah, the LP5 arrived modified with a loose barrel shroud. A video is coming soon. This is what you get for €180 instead of €30-40. So, thanks for nothing! I'm going to sell the pistol because it just reminds me of RB, which only raises my blood pressure unnecessarily.

I ordered an iris diaphragm. It broke after a short time. I sent it in for an exchange. After three weeks, I called to ask where the replacement diaphragm was. A package from RB Shooting was announced for the same day. I received the broken iris diaphragm back, with the explanation that there was oil on it. The oil didn't come from me! Conclusion: better to buy from a proper specialist shop! Simply returning broken goods out of frustration over a complaint is unacceptable – never again RB Shooting!

Owner's response

We are a specialist shop, and it's unacceptable that you would put oil on something that causes it to stick, damaging the iris diaphragm, and then try to pass that off on us.

What you're doing borders on deliberate fraud. You should be glad we didn't press charges!

I bought two shaker boxes at the German Championships in Munich. (€36) Unfortunately, I didn't inspect the goods closely. The boxes were well packaged. When I returned, I unpacked them. Half of the interior of one box was missing. So I called RB to complain about the defective goods. RB's response was: The boxes had been inspected by two people and there couldn't be a defect. Complaints cannot be accepted. Even pictures wouldn't change anything. I emailed RB pictures of the invoice and the purchased products and haven't received a response yet. For my part, I can only advise against shopping at RB until they change how they handle such matters.

One star isn't even the amount they deserve. The owner of this company is impolite, arrogant, totally not customer centric, and completely unwilling to accept anything you tell him. He loves to get your money, but isn't willing to help you out with warranty issues. Here's what happened; I ordered a pair of Gehmann Varga Rifle Olympic shooting glasses from him. After I used them just 4 times (with an extremely expensive piece of glass in them due to a very special eye abnormality I have, that makes me use them with extreme care because that little 23mm piece of glass costs 4 times the prices of the glasses!) the left ear piece came of, showing glue on the metal parts. I contacted RB Shooting about this, with photographs , a movie showing wat is wrong and an explanation, and he claims that he contacted Gehmann, and that they tell them they don't use glue, and that he won't accept any proof (in the form of a video and pictures, as shown in this review), so no warranty. I spoke to someone at Gehmann, who told me the DO use glue to hold the parts together, but it seems that the leg of the glasses came out of it's socket, which happens occasionally. I even asked the owner to send me the part that was broken, even willing to pay for it. He even refuses to do that. The unwillingness to help out a customer is of bizarre proportions. As an international ISSF competition shooter, I do not recommend this company, due to the lack of support and willingness to help out their customers with obvious warranty issues. I won't recommend this company to any of my international relations. [...] In reply to the reaction of the owner: he starts with claiming that I'm lying, and that I broke the glasses myself, even though he didn’t see them with his own eyes. This shows the kind of person he is. The reason I don't trust this person / one man company any more. I have sent the video and photographs I made to Gehmann, and they replied with "we understand your problem. The cause is poor bonding of the spring clip by the manufacturer.". So case closed, no more RB shooting for me, but the service from Gehmann has been great so far.

Owner's response

You are massively distorting the facts here.

You broke the arm of a pair of glasses at the hinge and claim it was glued from the start, which both we and the manufacturer deny, as no adhesive is used at that point.

I offered you the option of sending the defective glasses in so we could have them inspected by the manufacturer.

Then you asked us to provide you with the prices of individual parts. We replied that we would have to request these prices because the parts are not listed in the price list.

Now you're accusing us of refusing to do anything?

That's outrageous! Are we just fair game and expected to put up with everything?

It's legally required that a complaint be sent to the seller, and you're refusing to do that.

It looks to us like you're deliberately breaking something and trying to blame it on us, since you're refusing to send the supposedly defective part!

Ordered a pair of Sauer socks and a AHG visor in november 2023 and paid for it. A delivery delay up to 3 months was mentioned but that was OK for me. After many mails we are almost 1 year further and I am not getting any reply by e-mail anymore, did not receive what I have ordered and during the whole period the same goods were mentioned on their website with a delivery delay of 5 to 10 days. This is not a serious way of working. The best way to handle this as a trustworthy shop is at least to send an apology, offer a solution (refund or something else) and hope you can keep a happy customer.

The availability periods for the articles indicate on the page do not correspond in any way to reality. It is not the store's fault, they should review the availability terms to give the customer better information. Because you are going to buy thinking that you receive the order in 10 days and in reality it takes 2 or 3 times as long. I already had problems here and only thanks to the help of PayPal I was able to get the money back. I Do not recommend this store to anyone.
